This stunning location is one of the deepest valleys in Europe. You can see the road leading down and it zig-zags up the other side. There's a small village at the bottom but there's a cafe on one lookout that has a wonderful view over this scene. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.

We found ourselves driving along this gorgeous gorge by a lucky accident. It wasn't the Gorges du Verdon, or even the nearby Gorges du Cevennes but still pretty amazing.
