We visited Menerbes on market day, but could still find quiet spots to contemplate this lovely village and its views.
The ruined chateau atop this town once belonged to the Marquis de Sade, but is now owned by Pierre Cardin. We visited on a particularly spooky day.
The Pont Julien, built by the Romans in 3BC, is just down the road from Bonnieux and Roussillon. It was used for car traffic until 2005!
