🛏️The Space:

This Avian Forest condo is located in Pawleys Island off Willbrook Blvd, with the Tradition Golf Club on one side and The Reserve on the other approximately 1 ½ miles from the beach. A 4 bedroom, 3 bath single level condominiums. They feature a full kitchen, a dining area, living room, a washer/dryer, and a patio or balcony. The Avian community has its own private pool, and also shares the Litchfield by the Sea private beach facilities, tennis courts, Play Pool Plaza with a lazy river, and access to the fitness center, indoor heated pool, and hot tub

Guest Access: Guests will have access to entire condo. All resort guests have access to the Play Pool Plaza and the Indoor Pool Play Pool Plaza is the main resort pool located at Summerhouse Suites. Prior to arrival please feel free to message us in the messaging tool with any questions. After checking in we ask that you contact the front desk for anything you may need, when checking in they will provide you with 24/7 support number. Confirming Reservation: After booking we will send you message to confirm your reservation.

Other Things to Note: Must be 21 years of age to rent. NO PETS or SMOKING IS ALLOWED. Rental comes with linens, towels and setup pack of paper towels and toiletries. Unit is individually owned and managed by Litchfield Vacation Rentals; we ask our guests to treat it as they would their own home.

Golf trip for 4

This property is very convenient to local Pawley's Island golf courses. The condo was perfect for 4 guys (each of us had our own bedroom). The property was clean and comfortable. We like to prepare meals versus eating out all of the time. The condo did not come with dish soap or cloth towels for the kitchen. We ended up purchasing soap so we could keep the kitchen clean. We also had to purchase a pan to cook in the oven. The listing shows the condo comes with a "starter pack" for the kitchen. Just would have liked to have known the contents of this so we could have brought the things we needed in the kitchen. Other than this, the experience was great.

Girls’ Golf Trip

Just FYI for Litchfield. We did not stay there the week Aug10-13. We transferred our stay to Aug 17-20 as our golf tournament was moved because of hurricane Debby. Our review is for those dates of Aug17-20 when we stayed at this condo. The location of the condo was on line as being on Pawley’s Island which is at the beach. But the actual location was more north inland up at the Litchfield Avian Forest to the west side of US #17. We were playing a golf event near Georgetown and the actual location was a longer and more congested trip that we had to make for each of the three days. This condo was picked because the pictured location was convenient to the golf event site. But it wasn’t located there. So the condo itself was great! Very nice, clean and comfortable for us. Having the 4 bedrooms and 7 beds (2 twins in 3 of these) was perfect. The beds were comfortable and clean. A problem was that we didn’t know to bring coffee as there was no mention of what type of coffee we needed. Also there were no normal instructions of what we should do when we checked out - like what to do with the used linens and towels, the used dishes, etc. So we went to the rental check-in/office place for information. The pool was conveniently located across the parking lot. Even tho we only had 2 parking passes, that was no problem. The overflow area was across the way at the pool. We would stay there again! Kristie at the check-in center was soo nice and extremely helpful. .

Not much info up front

There was not much info given about how to use the amenities or where they were. TV was broken. Communication was loose. The space was nice and the rooms were clean. Wish I had known we should have brought cookware...it was hard to cook without the basics. Overall, a nice space with a good location, but lacking in the essentials.

Yearly Pawley's Island Vacation

Overall a very good experience. We have stayed at Avian twice before but were not able to use the amenities of Litchfield at the Sea. For this property, we were and enjoyed that extra perk. The property was as shown with enough space for a party of 8 comfortably. The whole family enjoyed the stay. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have access to the garage in order to charge the golf cart.

Very comfortable and great neighborhood

Overall, this was a great rental for our group (four teenagers and two adults). Very roomy, beds were comfortable, short, easy drive to the beach. At some point after I booked our trip, the listing became unavailable for me to go back and look at the property description and that was slightly inconvenient. Also, this rental is set up a little more like a hotel — in the sense that there are no little extras. Be prepared to bring anything you might need for cooking, washing clothes, etc. This wasn’t a huge deal and if I could’ve seen the listing, maybe I would’ve known in advance. I would definitely stay here again, though. We had a wonderful time!
