À propos de cet hébergement

Lodge de retraite avec foyer & vues naturelles panoramiques en Patagonie, Arizona

  • Welcome to a private 25-acre property in the oak grasslands of Patagonia, Arizona, sitting at 5,300 feet in the heart of the Sky Islands. From the moment you turn off the paved road and wind your way through the oaks, you'll understand why people keep coming back.

The entire property is yours exclusively for the duration of your stay. No shared spaces with strangers, no other groups on the land, no interruptions. Just your people, 25 private acres, and a sky so full of stars it stops conversation.

    The Accommodations

This sleeps up to 19 guests across two buildings, each with its own character and charm.

Cochise Hideout is the heart of the property — a 6-bedroom building with convertible king or twin configurations throughout. Two of the bedrooms also feature a bunk or trundle for added flexibility. Just steps away, Coronado Commons serves as the communal dining hall and fully equipped commercial kitchen for the whole group. Whether you're cooking for 10 or 19, this kitchen can handle it.

The Lozen Bunk House is a cozy standalone space sleeping 3 — perfect for kids, teenagers, or anyone who appreciates their own tucked-away corner of the property.

Guests share the beautifully remodeled Sonoita Bath House with separate men's and women's sides, each with showers, sinks, toilets, and changing areas. Yes, it's shared — and yes, it's wonderful. This is a camp-style property and the Sonoita Bath House is part of the experience. Our guests are the kind of people who don't mind a short walk — and we promise, once you see it, you won't mind at all.

    The Spaces

The Gadsden Art Barn (18x40) is the gathering heart of the property — completely open and configurable for yoga sessions, group workshops, dining, dancing, or simply a big shaded space to spread out. String lights overhead, fresh air all around, and enough room for your whole group to be together.

The covered gazebo offers a quieter, more intimate space tucked away from the main buildings. Tree platforms nestled in the oaks are perfect for morning yoga, meditation, or simply sitting with a cup of coffee and watching the birds. Lounge nooks scattered across the property invite smaller conversations and moments of quiet reflection.

The fire pit is one of the best things about this — gather around it when the sun goes down for guitars, stories, s'mores, and the kind of conversations that only happen under a sky full of stars.

A one-mile walking loop winds through the property, and direct national forest access awaits at every gate.

    The Setting

Patagonia, Arizona is one of the most ecologically spectacular regions in North America — and this sits right in the heart of it. The Sky Islands are a series of mountain ranges that rise dramatically from the surrounding desert, creating extraordinary biodiversity and some of the most dramatic landscapes in the Southwest.

World-class birding awaits just outside your door. The Paton Center for Hummingbirds draws visitors from around the globe, and the Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve hosts more than 300 species. Eleven Audubon Important Bird Areas are nearby. If you're a birder, you already know — Patagonia is on the bucket list.

Over 100 miles of gravel roads make Patagonia the Gravel Cycling Gateway to Santa Cruz County. The Arizona National Scenic Trail runs directly through town. Patagonia Lake State Park is a short drive for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and hiking. The Sonoita-Elgin wine region — Arizona's premier wine country — is just minutes away with multiple vineyards and tasting rooms worth a visit.

The charming town of Patagonia itself is worth an afternoon — colorful storefronts, local art galleries, beloved restaurants like Velvet Elvis, the Patagonia Lumber Co. for local wine and food trucks, and Red Mountain Foods for the best local sourdough you'll find anywhere. A genuine community of artists, birders, ranchers, and nature lovers who understand what it means to live close to the land.

    The Experience

This is a self-catering property — we don't provide food or beverage service, but we do provide a fully equipped commercial kitchen ready for your group to use. Bring your own caterer or cook together. Either way, the kitchen can handle it.

We don't run on rigid schedules. Come early to settle in and get the space ready for your group. Stay late to soak up every last moment. Just let us know your plans in advance and we'll make sure everything is ready when you arrive.

On-site property manager is available throughout your stay — present when you need him, out of your hair when you don't.

This is not a hotel. It's something better — a rustic, camp-style property done right. Thoughtfully remodeled, full of character, and completely authentic. The kind of place that makes people say "we have to come back" before they've even unpacked.

    Where stories are made.
