While the hotel advertises itself as the oldest hotel in Juneau, its age really shows, and the property is in serious need of refurbishment and updating. the headboards and phone had a thick layer of dust! One of the biggest issues was the noise. The bar downstairs played extremely loud music until 1:00 a.m. every night, and even noise-canceling headphones did not block it out. « Excellent accommodations- beautiful water and mountain view. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The Galley restaurant was delicious. Perfect location that is far enough away from downtown business, yet close enough to walk to. Longliner is peaceful, quiet and a home away from home. »
