The home was well-appointed with ample space for cooking, dining, and lounging. We loved the back deck with comfortable furniture, big-screen TV, hot tub, swing, and a beautiful view of the river. « Overall the cabin was clean. The road to get to the cabin was dirt, and therefore when it rained was only accessible by a truck. I would think that would be acknowledged on the description, due to the amount of rainfall in Louisiana. The cabin was lacking in several “luxury” things. Wi-Fi was not working, I had to go and purchase coffee mugs to enjoy a cup of coffee, and the bugs did not just stay outside (due to gaps under the doors and around the window A/C units). « Our stay in Natchitoches was made wonderful by the cute little bungalow that we rented. The location can’t be beat just steps away from the quaint little Riverside shopping area. The decor was spot on, so unique and interesting and perfect for the age of the home. Janice our host Was so gracious and communicated clearly with us. You won’t regret staying here. »
