« Had such a wonderful stay at Chateau Royal! I am from New Iberia, but we have outgrown our family home, so in recent years have needed to find alternative places to stay. This is our new favorite place. It was clean and well stocked. Within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, shopping, City Park. Great view of Bayou Teche from back deck. Plenty of room for family to visit. Mickey made sure we had everything we needed. We needed extra space, and booked Bayou Chateau next door last...

« Our stay was wonderful. The location was very rural which made it very quiet and peaceful. The view from the screened area in the rear of the river was relaxing (and bug free). Glasses and plates were plentiful. Short on eating utensils. Just grab some plastic with a carryout meals. The pictures of the inside and outside was exact. Very clean and well maintained. « This little home reminded me of my grandma's home when I was young. It has lots of old fashioned charm with modern decor. We were here for a birthday party so we didn't have an opportunity to enjoy downtown, but we did enjoy our stay. Next time we will bring our pup. He will love the nice backyard. »

« This is a very cool place that has everything. This getaway place is near the city but feels like it is at a campground. We loved the 2 different houses and the outdoor area with the firepit. It has plenty of parking, space to relax and 2 kitchens that has ample supplies. Check-in and out was convenient as well. We brought some extra chairs and enjoyed sitting by the river which was nice. I'd definitely recommend staying here to enjoy some rest & relaxation. »

« This house is fabulous, from the grounds to the pool to the furnishings. It easily accommodated 11 of us (we also rented the cottage) and was, surprisingly, very quiet. It is an older house, but has been beautifully updated. Bathroom counter space was a challenge and some of the tubs (claw foot) required stepping up, but there is a walk in shower in the master so it was all good.
