About this space
Wings Cabin blends comfort with nature, offering sweeping views of Parlatuvier Bay and forest all around. Just a short walk to a private waterfall and a quick drive to local villages, it’s an authentic Tobago experience with modern touches.

This cabin is perfect for couples or solo travelers seeking a romantic or restorative escape. The outdoor deck overlooks the forest canopy and ocean, where you may spot parrots and other unique wildlife, making it a special spot to unwind and reconnect with nature.

2. Location
Wings is part of Nature Retreats, a collection of eco-friendly cabins perched above Parlatuvier village, Tobago.

▸3-minute drive or 15-minute walk to Parlatuvier Beach
▸15 minutes to Englishman’s Bay
▸Approximately 1 hour from the airport via a scenic North Coast drive

The road to Wings is a bit bumpy and steep, so we recommend using a 4x4 vehicle to navigate it safely (optional). Once you reach the parking area, access to the cabin is easy, there are no hills or steps to walk up from parking to the cabin itself.

3. The Space
Wings comfortably sleeps up to 2 guests in one queen-sized bed.

The cabin has an open-air design with natural ventilation complemented by fans for additional comfort.

Outside, the deck includes a comfy hammock and sweeping views of the forest canopy. This peaceful outdoor space is ideal for morning coffee, meals al fresco, or simply relaxing while watching wildlife.

4. Wi-Fi + Connectivity
Wings offers reliable Amplia internet, suitable for remote work and streaming.

Cell reception is good for both Digicel and Bmobile, with no known dead zones.

5. Parking + Access
There is parking space for 1 vehicle onsite.

A 4x4 vehicle is recommended to navigate the road leading to Shade. (optional)

The path from parking to the cabin is on the same level (so there are no stairs).

6. Our Approach
Nature Retreats is a nature-centered, eco-friendly retreat committed to environmental care and guest wellbeing.

Yes, Wings offers exclusive use of the cabin and outdoor spaces for your stay.

Q: Is it quiet?
Yes, it very peaceful. You’ll mostly hear birds, the breeze, and the nearby waterfall. Traffic noise is almost non existent.

Q: Are meals provided?
Not yet, but local food options are available nearby in Parlatuvier and Castara. The outdoor deck has space for cooking and dining.

Q: Can I bring children?
It is family friendly, but Wings is best suited for up to 2 guests.

Q: Is Wi-Fi good for work?
The internet is reliable for remote work and streaming.

Q: What about insects?
Being in the forest, you will encounter insects. We provide repellents, mosquito nets and recommend closing doors and windows in the evening.

Q: What electricity does Shade use?
Wings runs on the local T&TEC grid.

Q: Can I get early check-in or late check-out?
