Our stay was short but very pleasant!
The place is wonderful, spacious, centrally-located, comfortable. Julie was really available for us to answer all our questions and give the most complete information possible.
Our family of six had an extraordinary most recent trip to Paris thanks to our host Julie and the Loft!Julie is wonderful! From the moment we booked the Loft, she booked everything from our transportation to our Loft dinner with Chef Olivier.Lovely private courtyard. So peaceful and quiet.Three minute walk to awesome rue Montorgueil.A pedestrian market street with such an authentic French vibe. Lively fun from morning til night!
What an incredible place to stay!!! Julie provided us with all the information we needed to plan our time in Paris. She introduced us by email to Irene, her concierge, who also assisted us with VIP arrival and departure services and a one day tour of ParisâŠall very worth booking in advance!Julie met us upon arrival to show us her beautiful home, share some of its fascinating history and make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The loft is exquisite and Julieâs attention to detail was top notch! We had a group of 6 for part of our stay and had more than enough room to spread out and relax. The location is excellent and we enjoyed just strolling down the street for coffee, pastries, cheese and fresh fruit. Julie also had a beautiful arrangement of fresh fruit, champagne and kitchen essentials waiting for us upon arrival.I honestly canât say enough about this place! Our only regret is that we could not stay longer (we spent five nights). Thank you, Julie. It was wonderful to meet you. We will definitely be returning!
We had an incredible stay at the Loft a couple of weeks ago - to the point where we keep saying, was that a dream?! My husband and I traveled to Paris with two other couples from different parts of the US and we were looking for a place with enough space where we didnât feel like we were on top of each other. The Loft was perfect. It was quiet, but in the heart of everything, and was comfortable while having more than enough room for all of us. The neighborhood was the cherry on top, with more cafes and shops than you can count, just a block away. We joked that we could have stayed in our neighborhood and never left. Julie was an incredible host from the start. Her communication was superb and she went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We really hope to go back some day!
We enjoyed our month staying in Julie's gorgeous Loftfactory and it was beyond fabulous. We had different groups of friends coming for a week at a time and every guest was blown away by the beauty of the flat and wonderful location. As an introvert, I was worried folks would be on top of each other but there was ample room for everyone to have their own space when needed and plenty of room for all 8 of us to gather together comfortably.
Julie was the most fabulous host we have ever experienced. Once she learned our guest rotation, she offered to have her cleaning crew come in to change sheets and linens which was great. Anytime I had a question including the nearest Post Office, she responded right away. My husband wanted to join a gym and she recommended the one across the street which was great for him. She was very attentive to our needs and communication was great. She arranged for Chef Olivier to cook a few fabulous meals at the flat which was wonderful. Highly recommend.
The flat location was on a quiet street with fabulous restaurants just a 5 minute walk away. We had the best of all worlds. Easy walk to the Monoprix, bakeries, cheese shops, etc. Easy walk to the sights as well as multiple metro stops.
Checking in was easy, Julie was waiting for us at the flat and went over the appliances, lights and movie screen with us. She provided great directions from Gare de Lyon and to the location.
Awesome host and flat, can't recommend highly enough!
Lovely stay at The Loft.
We were a group of 7 (including two small children) traveling to visit family so specifically looking for a space that would allow us to stretch out as well as room to host family.
The Loft absolutely delivered on space, we never felt like we didnât have enough room to take time to ourselves or host additional family which is a luxury in most French apartments.
The space was clean, provided all the amenities expected and thoughtfully laid out. Julie was an exceptional host who was always available and had many recommendations. Although we did not take advantage, she offered concierge services such as transportation and private chef catered meals which was appreciated.
As a parent of a small child (10 months at the time) I will say some aspects of the home were a little difficult to navigate (staircases and varying levels of the floor such as stepping up to get into kitchen) and do not think I would stay again with children of that age however this had nothing to do with the home itself as it was wonderful.
We would absolutely stay again (especially now that the kids are older) and highly recommend Julie and her property.
Julie was easy to deal with. Instructions were not super clear on how to work certain things, the lights were difficult to manage but Julie helped as needed. The only item is there is cameras all over the loft and I do not recall those being disclosed. It felt a little uncomfortable - Julie said they were off but it still felt a little invasive and a lot less privacy. Hooks in the entry for hanging coats and storing shoes would be helpful.
The loft is gorgeous; located in a part of Paris weâve not stayed at in the past but great location for restaurants and amenities; able to get food delivery and Uber readily; apartment is as pictured and listed - charming and beautiful; fantastic neighborhood
Julie could not have been more helpful, responsive and welcoming; beautiful flowers, fruit, champagne to greet; she can assist with any accommodations you may desire while staying in Paris
I would highly recommend The Loft for a visit to Paris and hope I can stay again in the future
Thank you so much for your hospitality
This is like a private home in the very heart of Paris. and 3000 sq feet !! No need for car, all is walking distance, from monuments to best restaurants etc.. The owner is very accommodating and will make you feel like n your own home. Only good things to say about this place. Just hope you can find availability = Jonathan Los Angeles
We absolutely loved our stay in this extraordinary, beautiful, historical apartment. If you have the opportunity to stay here, TAKE IT!! It was comfortable, clean, and within easy walking distance to many restaurants. Easy to communicate with the property owner. Thanks Julie
Stay was very nice in the perfect location. Loft is on a quiet street but just down each end of the street, many cafes and shops with a lively atmosphere. Loft was spacious and beautiful with an old world feel and modern flareâ if youâre into history but love the modern look. Host was incredible, helped with any questions the entire stay! Louvre/Siene River is a 10 min. walk with many shops and restaurants on the way. Eiffel Tower/ Arc de Triumph is about a 25 min. drive. Definitely would stay here again if I get the chance!
Spacious flat in central Paris halfway between Opera and Le Marais, walking distance to both. The loft itself is on a quiet one-way street just 2 blocks away from Rue Montorguiel and one block away from the infamous Rue St. Denis. Marche Montorguiel is a lovely and lively pedestrian street with patisseries and cafe galore, plus fruit/veg shops, butcher, cheese shops, wine shops, etc. if you want to experience living Parisian life, this is a great area.
The loft itself has very spacious shared spaces - plenty of living/entertaining area. However, the bedroom situation should come with some caveats. The fourth "bedroom" is in the basement (which our kids called "the dungeon") down a precarious flight of twisty stairs and wedged between the staircase and gym equipment. We ended up not using it at all and never stepped into the basement after the tour. So in reality you have 3 bedrooms - 2 upstairs and 1 on the main floor. Only one bedroom has an attached bathroom, which has the only "bathtub" - not really usable as a bathtub because the tile grout is coming apart. The second bedroom on the second floor has to share the master bathroom or the half bathroom down the hallway, while the bedroom on the main floor has use of a full bathroom with shower on the floor (but not attached). I feel like this was not clearly indicated in any of the marketing materials, but an important point for families/friends intending to share the house, especially with kids, because it will require some logistics. We found that most of the plates and utensils had food particles or even butter/grease stuck on them and had to wash everything before using, and the master bathroom has a bit of a weird smell.
Overall, I would rate the shared living space of this flat as five star, but the sleeping/bedroom situation comparable to a 3 star hotel. If you're looking for true luxury accommodations, you're better off at a 5-star hotel, but if you want tons of shared entertaining space in a great local neighborhood, this is a great choice.
Julie made everything as convenient and as easy as possibly. She took care of every single thing we needed instantly.
The apartment is large and airy with large bathrooms and a great kitchen and dining area.
Best of all, the location and neighborhood. The Loft is on a very quiet street 2 blocks from a walking street that has every shop you could ever want on it. And literally next door was the best coffee we found in Paris.
Because if the location we could walk everywhere or use the subway which we did.
We spent a month at the Loft and loved it. Perfect for kids who need space.
We loved our stay at the LoftFactory - the location is amazing and the property owner Julie is a great host. We stayed with 7 people and the space for perfect for it. Hope to come back soon!
I traveled to Paris with a group of friends, including one infant and stayed at the Loftfactory. We had an amazing stay and Julie was very responsive in making sure we had everything we needed. The beds were quite comfortable and we had plenty of space. Would highly recommend this loft for a big group!
It's not easy to find a place for our family of five in Paris. This space was wonderful. We each had not only our own sleeping space, but to have hang out space and a large stocked kitchen, a place to sit together for dinner, having a washer and dryer, etc. The neighborhood felt safe at any hour. The food options nearby on Rue Montorgueil were amazing.
Julie was very easy to communicate with and was very attentive. The building and its history are incredible. So fun and charming and quiet.
Would happily stay again.
It is precisely as described and pictured. The location is ideal, with rue Montorgueil, and itâs markets being less than two blocks away. The attention to style is impressive. Julie was a wonderful host. Would stay again.
