This family Haussmannian apartment is located just a moment walk away from the Parc Monceau and 15' walk from the Arc de Triomphe (2 metro stations).This 1882,classical apartment, has 3 main rooms, a 98sqm,(1055sq feet) living space,and a 2.90m high molding style ceiling,The apartment is located at the 5th floor with an elevator.It is south-south east oriented,with a 17m long balcony that spans all the lenght of the apartment. It is crossing type with sun on sunset for both kitchen and bathroom.
It offers great view on the Paris roofs until the Parc Monceau 300m away.
Recently refurbished,the 5th floor apartment, with elevator, is fully furnished with all comfort.Even if quiet there are double glazed windows in all rooms.
The large(34sqm)living room comes with a 63 inch large screen plasmaTV,with foreign channels.
The main bedroom,with air conditioning and also with TV, has a 1.60m x 2.00m comfortable bed with 27cm matress.There is an upper matress available too.
The 2nd separated bedroom with also queen's bed is folding type.This room can be used as an office.
You will appreciate the large bathroom with bath and shower,and also with a bidet. WC are in another separate room, with 2 doors for privacy.There is a hand wash too.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped and you will feel like at home.The apartment comes complete with high speed internet,wi-fi . The flat suits superbly for 4 persons.A cot is available for a baby too.
Stores including bakery are all less than 100m away .Supermarkets are 300m away, Typical markets of the rue Poncelet or rue de Levis are just 10' walk.
Many local and various restaurants are located in a very next surrounding.
Metro access is very easy with 4 stations:Wagram, Malesherbes,Monceau and Courcelles stations, are at around 300m each:Line 2 and line 3.
I will welcome you personnaly at your arrival.
Minimum stay,5 days.
Rates per day: 238€ for 2 persons .Over 2 persons extra charge of 30€, per night, for each additional person.In total maximum 4 persons accepted .
Dogs are welcome and free of charge.Rates includes cleaning before your stay .Cost for your stay 70€ on a forfeit basis.Possibility of extra cleaning,by mine own house maid during your stay on request.Price to be fixed by you with the concerned person. Current rate of my house maid is 15€ per hour.For stay over 2 weeks cleaning is compulsory at guest expenses.Complete cleaning is +-3h.
A refundable deposit,400€ will be requested to you at your arrival, and given back to you at your departure.
There is no parking in the condo,,but public pay parking is nearby.Cost +-75€ per week.
Please note that i am living in this apartment too.So you will find everything you need for a nice stay.

Nous avons passĂ© 10 jours dans cet appartement et nous y retournerons Ă  notre prochain sĂ©jour Ă  Paris. Sa situation , comme il est dit dans l'annonce , permet de se rendre facilement dans les principaux centres d'intĂ©rĂȘt parisien, mĂȘme Ă  pied pour beaucoup d'entre eux. Les Ă©quipements sont complets et d'excellente qualitĂ©. Il en est de mĂȘme de la literie qui est extrĂȘmement agrĂ©able et confortable. Mais plus que tout cela, une dĂ©coration de trĂšs bon goĂ»t donne Ă  cet appartement un trĂšs grans charme. Le voisinage est discret. Enfin et ce n'est pas le moindre des points forts de cette location, le propriĂ©taire ( 5 fois champions de France de course Ă  moto ) est trĂšs accueillant, disponible et d'un commerce agrĂ©able. Nous ne saurions assez insister pour choisir sans hĂ©sitation l'appartement de Monsieur C. Bourgeois que nous remercions. Rabah

We came to Paris to celebrate our anniversary and also flew our daughter in from the United States to celebrate her birthday. We immediately fell in love with the property. Christian is an amazing host and truly welcomed us into his home. He left out nothing making our stay entirely stress-free!

This place is unique. It is like walking back into time. Christian is warm and so helpful. The beds are great, the kitchen is well stocked and we adored the Parc and the entire location. It is not modern - it is historic. I would stay there again. Special place.

On the fifth floor of an old French town house, this spacious flat is filled with lovely furniture, and a very comfortable bed. It has a small but well appointed kitchen with an induction cooker should you not want to eat out again. There is also a highly efficient internet and satellite TV. The delightful owner of the property still lives there occasionally - he speaks good English.Shopping for food is easy - Rue de Levis has a wide range of shops and there is a boulangere patisserie on the same block.Two metro stations (lines 2 and 3) are a short walk and will connect you easily with the centre of Paris. Once you have got your head round RATP Navigo the whole of Paris is easily accessible. There is a lot on social media about pick pockets, drug addicts and beggars on the metro - all true but no worse than New York or London.We stayed for ten days and found it perfect for our needs. We would happily stay there again.

What a beautiful, spacious and convenient place to stay. The host, Christian, explained how everything worked. The full kitchen was a bonus. Excellent bakery and restaurant on same block. Parc Monceau is a gem. Would love to stay there again sometime.

We had the perfect visit to Paris. This apartment is wonderful and gives you the space and experience of Paris away from all the tourist places. Easy access to metro, restaurants, Parks. Christian greeted us with a big smile and a very nice beverage. Made our trip extra special.

This apartment is so beautiful, you won't want to leave. Christian was a responsive and attentive host who provided all the comforts of home in an environment that made us feel as though we were Parisian locals. Immaculately clean and well maintained, with many thoughtful amenities, you will find this place comfortable and welcoming. On any future trips to Paris, this is the only place we would want to stay. The neighborhood is lovely and there are several metro stations nearby to get you anywhere in the city. If you are a frequent traveler, you will appreciate the elegance of this lovely home away from home.

Walking distance to the Champs Elysee. Monceau Park is one block away and it was so lovely to walk around, or enjoy a picnic. Christian was such a great host. We would definitely stay here again.

To stay here in this lovely space in this lovely neighborhood so close to everything you might need or want in Paris but to still be in a quiet space. Amazing. A quick walk to the metro. A quick walk to the Arch. A quick walk to the park. A corner boulangerie that has a line out the door all day ( because all the Parisians get their bread there) The only other thing you might want is an amazing host who greets you with a bottle of his favorite champagne... Yeah you get that too. We spent a week. We will absolutely be returning.

We had very little knowledge of Paris and its various neighborhoods, but this property was amazing and perfectly situated. Even with the bustling preparation for the Olympics, we found peace, quiet, calm and Parisian charm. Christian meet us for check-in and from there it was an absolute dream. The department was spacious, had every amenity, and we felt home for our entire stay. The neighborhood offered restaurants, small cafes, bakeries, shopping - it had it all. Also, we were just a few blocks from the metro station, so the entire city was just footsteps away. We wish we didn't have to leave!

We had a wonderful stay in Christian's beautiful and quintessentially Parisian apartment! The apartment is quite elegant, and it has a lovely view of Parc Monceau and of the Parisian rooftops. It was as comfortable as could be in every way, and Christian was the most gracious host, thoughtfully providing us with everything we could possibly need. The neighborhood was charming as well, with a boulangerie down the block, many charming shops and cafes, the lovely Parc Monceau, and two subway stations that could get us anywhere in Paris very quickly.

We chose this apartment due to my week-long work event in Paris. I wanted to stay near my work (Palais de Congres and La Defense) and have more amenities and space than a hotel room typically provides. Christian was an excellent host, reaching out a few weeks before my trip with information about getting to the apartment from air or rail, and other information about the neighborhood. He waited on site until we got to the apartment and took about half an hour to show us all of the features and how everything worked. He also made recommendations for restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. The building is lovely, with original marble floors and stained glass throughout. It has a small elevator, just enough space to get you and your luggage up to the 5th floor! The apartment is spacious, with generous windows for daylight and rooftop views. There is a separate water closet and spacious bathroom (with wardrobe space for hanging clothes). There is a primary bedroom with plenty of drawer space, and a separate study with a murphy bed if you need additional sleeping accommodations. Christian also welcomed us with a bottle of champagne from a friend's vineyard and a bottle of sparkling water (much appreciated after many hours of travel!). Unfortunately, we had a personal emergency that required us to leave earlier than planned, so we didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked. While we were there, we enjoyed daily walks at the nearby Parc Monceau. Highly recommend!

We spent a wonderful week in Paris with our 10 and 11 year old grandsons. Christian’s apartment is located in a great neighbourhood with easy access by foot or metro to all sites in Paris. Communication with Christian was excellent prior to our trip and upon arrival.
