i booked this hotel because of its excellent proximity to Gare Du Nord and Gare L'est, both locations central to our stay. After making the booking i read some reviews which caused me some concern, those concenrs were entirely unfounded and i can only presume those who were negative expected champagne on a beer budget. This is a good honest hotel, it doesnt pretend to be something it isnt, its budget friendly and i can say i have stayed in hotels with more stars than this and had poorer service. the staff were excellent. The room we stayed in while dated were very clean and comfortable. at the end of the day the room is just to sleep and shower, i dont go to a hotel to look at the 4 walls all day. theres no coffee/making facilities in the room but thats not unusual in Europe, and i knew that when i booked. given how well we were looked after and its proximity to the train stations i would stay here again if i ever come back to Paris.
