SOME RECOMMENDATIONS
1) For groceries there's a big Monoprix with a supermarket in the basement on Ave de l'Opera (2 min walk from your apt) which has the best selection and prices for food and drinks. In the refrigerated section they have many prepared French dishes, ready to microwave. If this is your first time in a French supermarket, allow plenty of time since it's fascinating.

2) For takeouts: there's a boulangerie in front of your apt. which is open Mon-Sat and also has affordable sandwiches, quiches, bread, etc. There are umpteen great Japanese restaurants on rue St Anne as well as a couple of Middle Eastern takeout places.

3) There's an open air market on Place du Marche St Honoré (on the opposite side of Ave de l'Opera, behind Monoprix, easy to find on a map) on Weds afternoons and Saturday mornings. Try the roast chickens and roasted potatoes.
