« Wonderful stay! FYI- Maps app doesn't bring up the address. However please take note and print out the details that they give you prior to getting there. Service is spotty in the area. This house is on gravel road and it's secluded. We had a great stay and will definitely rent again if we are back in the area. We enjoyed the corn hole boards and horse shoes for the afternoon wind down. We stayed for 3 days and was able to see all the New River gorge areas in these 3 days. No hiking just taking...

« I booked on June 30 to check in on July 3,2026. I sent a message after booking asking whether there is a range in the property as the photo did not show. No response, no check in instructions until I called the host at 3 pm on July 3. Good we got access toProperty immediately. However it felt like entering a sauna and had to switch air conditioner and leave the property until it gets cooled. All faucets are marked wrong in bathroom, red is cold water and blue is hot water . The mixer in the...

« Our trip was such a great experience! Our host was very informative! The place comes with pretty much everything you need! Very clean and nostalgic to “ simpler times”. Very close to the river where we caught some fish. Bedding was clean and so was other furniture. Very relaxing and quiet spot to stay “ other than the railroad at some times LOL” but such a great place to stay and at the price. Very kid friendly as well! If you’re looking for a relaxing stay and just a great get away trip this is...

« Lovely house with wrap-around porch facing the river. Close to RR tracks if that bothers some, but had a good time there despite the rain (which made the porch even better). »

We could actually walk a long way into the river as it is a lot of flat rock area. Kitchen had everything needed and WiFi worked well to support streaming on the tvs. Was also nice to have a concrete pad for parking right next to the house. As others mentioned the train is pretty close and seems to like to operate in the overnight hours but that wasn’t too big of...

« Although the clerk on arrival was very quiet, the staff in general was very friendly. Breakfast options were good and well stocked. We enjoyed the hot chocolate, coffee, and tea in the lobby upon arrival. »

« The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast could use some help. We stayed 3 days and it was the same food every day. »
