"The communication with the host, Chris, was excellent. He was very responsive to my questions and we were able to check-in a little early. The house was clean and bedrooms perfect for our family. The bunkroom/gameroom provided a great space for our teens in the group. It was also nice to be have a dog friendly home, our golden retriever had the best vacation! The kitchen space was a bit small but we made it work. Overall, it was a wonderful home for our vacation. "

"Our stay at the Hemlock House was wonderful! It very comfortably fit two families with kids, who spent much of the time when not at the beach playing foosball, doing puzzles (the house has many puzzles and books), and playing hide and seek. The gas fireplaces are very cozy, and the adults even spent a night watching a movie on Apple TV. The kitchen is small but well stocked with tools, including crackers for crab, nice pots and pans, and sharp knives. The beach is a 5 minute walk away with easy access. It is definitely a well loved older home with minor wear issues - which with children, I appreciate not having to worry about spilled milk or a scuff on the floor. I very much appreciated that the flooring was all hard (no carpet), and my tree and weed allergies were not an issue there. I would not hesitate to return in the future."
