« I walked in and the front desk person saw me but went into the back room and I had to pick up the front desk phone before she or the other female came out. No greeting, completely uninterested in being friendly and polite. Sullen would be the word. Annoyed that people were checking in. Blood smeared on the doors going into the hotel. Room was ok. Went down for breakfast at 8:30 and it was all gone. 2 muffins, 4 pieces of potatoes and 1 (one) 2" piece of scrambled "eggs". No coffee cups. ...

« The property is very run down at the heels. While I felt the room was clean enough the bathroom shower head was broken. We encountered an “incident” where a staff member attempted to gain access to our room while we were sleeping without a prior phone call or knocking. Instead they unlocked our door with a master key and attempted to use a tool to flip the safety latch. While most apologetic about their mistake, the whole incident was unsettling. »

« The staff were great. We had a smooth checking. The Manager also helped us carry our luggage to the 2nd floor as the establishment did not have an elevator. The pool was closed for repairs. Breakfast was decent. Their wifi had some limit to users and I couldn’t get on it The biggest issue we had was the mattress. It was an old lumpy mattress and we had a very bad night. We stayed for only 1 night. »

« I just think in general this place is pricey for what it is. I stayed at AmericInn in grand forks the next night and it was so much better, more updated, cleaner, had a pool and hot tub. This place way just super underwhelming. TV sucks, bathroom had a hole in the ceiling. The floor was FREEZING. It is hardwood which is fine but obviously it isn't insulated so even though you can get the heat running in the room the floor is always very cold. »
