« I have a couple of suggestions. The musty smell in the house might be helped by cleanng out the fireplace. You might add washcloths to the bathrooms - not everyone uses them, but some of us do regularly. The prompt response to the need for 8 lightbulbs in the house was appreciated - might want to check bulbs before the next customers arrive. Visitors should be aware that the two bathrooms in the house are small - if 8-10 people are living in that house, that should be a consideration. »

« Everything and we mean everything about this host and home was comfortable, secure and beautiful! We didn’t even expect the holiday decor but the home was adorned with tree and trimming. We stayed in Cleveland to be away from the city and close to our son’s wedding winery venue. Due to the holidays it was really the first long weekend travel we did with our dog because we didn’t want to have to board him over extra days in a kennel alone. « The Chestnut House was a very comfortable option for us. The thing that really stuck out to us was the thoughtfulness of the host. A bottle of wine was left for us, an ample supply of coffee available, lots of toilet paper and kitchen supplies. The house had everything we needed including a desk for my wife to work at. It is an older house and so some of the spaces are small like the bathroom and kitchen, but it was completely functional and nicely done given the space limitations. »

« We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful 3 story home. Owner kept in touch often and was friendly and courteous. The home was very clean and up to date and suited our family of 9 well. Very quiet neighborhood in subdivision near businesses. We were there for a tournament and it was within 15 minutes of fields. We look forward to booking again next year! »
