Bumblebee Cottage is a stunning, 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom, 3-story beach home that is sure to become your family’s next favorite home away from home! Located within the neighborhood of Seacrest Beach, a picturesque community of Florida Cottage style homes nestled along the north side of Scenic Highway 30A, this newly remodeled home has super-fast WiFi and is a block away from the 12,000 square foot pool. You're a brisk five minute walk to the sandy white shores of the Emerald Coast!
As you walk through the front door of this luxurious, sunny residence you'll find two bedrooms on the terrace level. One is a twin over twin bunk room that is almost certain to be a hit with the kids! The other is a queen guest room which is the perfect place for older kids or Mom and Dad! Both bedrooms feature en suite bathrooms and flat panel televisions.
Head on up to the second floor where you will find the primary living space. The well-appointed and newly remodeled kitchen features brand new appliances and has everything you need to prepare the perfect meal for your family. The center island features bar seating for four. The table in the dining area has seating for eight. The kitchen and dining area open up to the family room which is outfitted with a large, flat panel television, Sonos speaker, two plush sofas and an oversized chair. On the second floor near the kitchen is a conveniently located half bath.
No matter where you are in this open concept living space, your family can regale each other with tales of adventure from your days spent either lounging at the beach, the spectacular lagoon pool, or taking in all the wonderful sights and sounds of Scenic Highway 30A! French doors flanking either side of the television take you onto second floor porch offering a beautiful view of the palm-tree lined streets of this Florida-cottage inspired community. Also on the second story porch is a propane barbecue perfect for grilling steak, seafood, chicken or vegetables to perfection.
When you are done for the day and you are ready to recharge, you can make your way to the third floor — the entirety of which is the owners' retreat. The spacious master bedroom features a king bed and dresser storage for clothes. At the back of the third floor of the home is a sitting area outfitted with a comfortable sofa, mini-fridge, coffee maker and large flat-panel television. A doorway takes you out to the third-floor covered porch which is the perfect setting to enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea first thing in the morning!
Each bedroom features its own ensuite bathroom. All televisions feature digital cable connections with a wide variety of channels including HBO at no additional cost. The home includes complimentary WiFi service powered by gigabit Internet service from the local cable company.

Wonderful Beach Home!
We loved this cottage in Seacrest! The decor was really nice (loved the cute bumblebee theme) and the home was extremely comfortable, including the beds. The kitchen was well-stocked and we also loved the location….Just a quick bike ride to the beach or into town. We would rent again for the 5 of us-Highly recommend!

This house met all our needs for an extended weekend stay with couple friends. We just missed the beach tram service provided by the neighborhood, because we came in early November, but it was a quick and easy walk to the beach (took us about 8 min). Very walkable distance to both Rosemary beach and Alys beach. Cannot recommend enough! Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here, and the view from the 3rd floor is beautiful. The only drawback was the size of the bathrooms and bedrooms. There really isn’t a true master bedroom in this house. The bedrooms are small and baths are tiny.

Good house but some issues
Overall the house and location were great. However, it’s clear the home was decorated to look nice for rental pictures and amenities to get bookings but lacked attention to the renters experience.
For example, all of the bikes had issues. None had full pressure tires. Seats were jammed and the height could not be adjusted. One bike had clearly been in a wreck and had crooked handle bars and the chain guard was bent. 2 of the 3 bikes had bent back wheels. We made use of them, but it was clear the bikes are included to make the sale on the rental and not provide 3 fully usable bikes. Nearly all of the doors to the porches were jammed and were difficult to get in and out of. The door to the top deck looked nearly busted so we didn’t use it. While communicated in the check in info, it seems silly for the house to not be fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
We did enjoy the stay, but was clear the goal is to shave extra profits each week instead of take good care of the place. Will likely visit the area again but will pick another house.

Cons:
Lack of service... the day we checked in the sink in my room was broken with standing clogged water in it from the day of check-in to the day we checked out.
The doors were warped and the top floor balcony door wouldn't connect with the frame, was cracked, and flew open/couldn't close... leaving it wide open and bugs coming into the property. Again from the first day to the last day.
Each time I reached out to the property management company, I was told maintenance would be there and they never showed up... FOR OUR ENTIRE STAY. And all I got was a "sorry, we're short staffed."
The countertops were sticky and dirty and had to be thoroughly wiped down.
The tops of the yellow stools had caked-on grime that had to be cleaned.
The dishes in the cabinets had stuck on food and were dirty.
It was disappointing to say the least and we will not be returning to this property or using this company again. A shame for them as I visit 2 - 4 times per year.
It's sad when you're looking for a "go to" and are met with a laissez-faire attitude and lackluster service or care. A big miss and a botched opportunity to lose our business.
I hope your response and lack thereof throughout our stay was worth it.

A Comfortable Well-Priced Stay in a Great Community
We are regulars to Seacrest Beach and have always enjoyed this little community. This property’s location is wonderful. Easy to access the beach tram or take the short walk, and well-positioned for a stroll into Alys Beach where we love spending time.Pros for this listing:- location- well-priced for this area- comfortable beds & couches- well-stocked kitchenCons:- we had no WiFi for the entirety of our stay. We said contact the property about this and the next morning someone came out and said they would have to set us up an appointment with the service provider. That did not happen. - No extra garbage bags or toilet paper were provided- several areas around the house could use a little attention such as broken blinds, scuffed or half-done paint, broken/unattached shutters, and a sink in the bunk room that doesn’t drain very well.- no hand towels provided.We still had a great trip despite these small things, but definitely felt it a departure from our previous experiences!

Incredible Beach House Great Location
We had an incredible stay as a family of four. The house was beautifully laid out with ample amount of space for all of us. The location within Seacrest is perfect as you can walk or bike to anything, and a very short walk across 30A to the beach. We loved walking into Rosemary and having drinks in Alys Beach. We will definitely be back next summer
