Le Calypso Resort est la plus belle et la plus récente des plages, juste en face du parc Pier. Situé au centre de Panama City Beach, au 15817 Front Beach Rd. Cette zone de la plage est très familiale.

Calypso a deux magnifiques piscines de forme libre qui sont directement sur la plage. Le complexe propose également un aménagement paysager tropical, un bar tiki et un centre de remise en forme. Toutes les unités sont face au golfe avec de grands balcons.

Cette unité a 1 roi, 1 reine, 1 ensemble de couchettes (complet sur le bas jumeau sur le dessus), et un canapé-lit. L'unité peut accueillir 8 personnes. Tous les appareils haut de gamme et le mobilier est somptueux. Venez profiter de toutes les commodités de ce grand complexe.

Cette unité est non fumeur et n'accepte pas les animaux domestiques. L'âge minimum de location est de 25 ans.

For the price we paid & what we received was awful. I have pictures to back up what I’m saying. The room needs a lot of work. I’m also going to reach out to th owner to let them know. Maybe they haven’t been here in the last 10 years. Carpet is probably original with TONS of stains, air doesn’t work great, so many scuffs on the wall, all cabinets have white duck tape over where they are pealing. My momma is on oxygen, so we brought her machine of course, had to try a few outlets MULTIPLE times to find one that has enough power, same with the blow dryer. Normal things that we have always been accustomed to wasn’t there. Will not stay here again. Hope they fix all the issues inside the condo so others don’t feel like they were ripped off also, since Calypso is better than what we had. We had family staying in another condo & they got what they paid for. Very disappointed. Had to put a pillow behind the headboard, otherwise every time you moved, it banged the wall. I could go on & on. We would of had better in room accommodations at a hotel. We for sure got taken advantage of for our money.

PROs: Thw description “MODERN 3-Bed condo” might be stretching things a bit. The view from the balcony is truly amazing. VERY Close to Pier Park, lots of good restaurants and the beach (even for senior citizen having trouble walking in the sand. If walking is a major issue you can rent an electronic wheelchair to get you to the beach in style). Pools were amazing and the tiki bar was a nice added touch!! Having chairs and beach toys was a great plus. Having an icemaker was handy. CONs: Cleaning issues. Stains in carpet. Furniture and tv’s VERY outdated. Only 1 towel per person isn’t quite enough. The coffee pot was filthy. It would be helpful to know that we needed to bring our own kitchen utensils (egg turner for one), kitchen towels/dish rags, dishwasher soap, garbage bags, dustpan etc etc. MBR toilet was on the verge of clogging. The dryer worked but the top is rusted. Laminate on kitchen cabinets is peeling off. The bunk room is very small (no closet) but the main two BR’s more than made up for it. Even with the cons listed, had I known in advance these items weren’t included, I could have prepared and not been caught off guard having to get everything but the kitchen sink. (This is not my first rental but is only my second VRBO rental…….) I loved the Calypso but might look for a different unit next time.

Had an enjoyable time. Pool, tiki bar was an excellent bonus. Condo more spacious than we thought. Kitchen amenities could use a few updates, such as glasses, spoons, dishcloth and dish towels. Various spices would be appreciated as customers don’t know what to bring until they arrive. Location was close to everything.

It was fine

We stayed in this condo this past week. It was fine. It served the purpose of our needs. The room could use some updating though. Carpets were very worn down and stained. Cabinets kind of beat up. The room could have been cleaned better. There were mildew spots in the master toilet and hair still on the master sink. I’m not freaked out by hair but that just tells me it wasn’t cleaned the way it should have been. This room unfortunately doesn’t come with the beach chair/umbrella rentals but there are a few beach chairs in the laundry room closet to use. Overall, it was fine and met our needs but definitely not as nice as other condos in calypso.

Family vacation

Furniture are old and tv can use an upgrade. Door to the balcony did not lock. We had a problem with the packing deck bar code but respond was quick. There was sand small trash on floor but Everything else perfect.

The condo was immaculate with big bedrooms and fully furnished with everything we needed especially in the kitchen. The balcony was also big with excellent beach view from living room and master bedroom. Specious living room and hallway. The tile floors easy to clean The swimming pool was very nice especially for all ages seniors and children. The only suggestion i have is to add a jacuzzi in tower I. Tower III had a jacuzzi. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.

When we got there on Saturday we went on the balcony to find 3 rusty fish hooks, 2 on the ground and 1 on the table. We had no wash clothes and an old used sponge to wash dishes. Called on Saturday to get wash clothes and a new sponge. Said they would get us some on Sunday. I reached out 3 times to get washcloths but we never received them. The toilets were black around the rim and they had old food still in the sink. Definitely the most dirty condo we have ever stayed in. Besides that the water and the beach were amazing.

Poor maintenance in high price property

This property had neglected maintenance, broken patio furniture, missing fire alarms, dishes too limited for the number of guests, worn furniture and peeling kitchen laminate. The property manager couldn't be reached by VRBO or myself by phone when there was a problem with property access. The door lock was inoperable by our second day. I wouldn't rent a property from LSI as property manager again.

Great location but filthy unit

We loved the location but the unit was filthy. There were dirty handprints all over the doors, hair and filth on the walls around the toilet, carpet was dirty & stained, furniture was dirty & stained.

I will never again rent through VRBO unless it’s with a private owner. Im not very hard to please as long as the place is clean. Not only was it dirty, it was in no way sanitized as I was told it would be. I have many pictures of the unit if someone needs proof. The kitchen counters, stove, and refrigerator looked as though they were wiped down with a wet cloth full of grease. It smelled like someone had cooked crab legs. The sofa is very dirty and worn. Felt like you were going to sink to the floor when you sat on it. Please don’t rent unit E802 until you find another cleaning crew. The company we rented from need to be reported for not following the cdc cleaning in between rental. If you can’t talk to a individual owner, don’t rent anything.

Horrible!!!

The condo was clearly not cleaned. There were beer bottles on the patio and used dental floss picks by the bed. There is a lot of carpet in this condo so I can only imagine how disgusting the floors were. The air conditioning vent was DISGUSTING! Room is completely out dated. No kitchen essentials were there. The details of the room are very vague on here and there’s a reason for that. The parking passes never worked. I was told by calypso security that every room came with 2 parking passes for free but yet we were charged $20 for a second pass. Very disappointed with our stay.

Property was filthy

I am very sorry to report that this property (E802) was very dirty and in need of a cleaning crew and replacement of many items. Carpets were stained in bedrooms and one looked like it was actually blood. Mattresses were missing pads or had stained pads, while the comforters smelled and looked very dirty. We just took them off and only slept under a sheet. Pantry had not been swept in a long time, and shower curtains were torn and so disgusting I made sure not to touch them while showering. Dryer was actually rusty on top. Cabinets everywhere were cracked and veneers were coming off. Glass doors and handles were very smudged and dirty. We have stayed at several of these units before and have NEVER had this level of disappointment in the cleanliness prior to this.

Was not happy with property and communication on issues

Did not know property did not have power and was not notified before I arrived about issue. Was without power Sunday through Tuesday. Did not get power back until Tuesday night at 10 pm. I want to request a refund for inconvenience during my stay.

Aged Unit, Parking Pass Issues

This property was first and foremost clean. However, it was dated and all of the furniture was worn substantially. Carpet was worn as well. The parking passes, which were supposed to be working thorugh Sunday, April 4, actually were cancelled on Saturday April 3. Could not easily get into or out of parking garage, despite paying $20 each for two cars.

B E L I E V E The Reviews!

We arrived on Sunday morning, a day later than we had planned. The Paper code & picture of the code to enter the garage would not work. This process was an issue the entire trip. I’m not sure why you have to use the code to depart the garage each time. Bummer However, this was the least of the disappointments. The unit was F I L T H Y! There was food in the kitchen floor and in the master bathroom. The air conditioner return vent, in the hallway, was full of grunge. There was blood on the bedroom sheet. The couches had crusty stains on them. We covered them with sheets so we could use them. The refrigerator nor microwave had been cleaned. The showers had not been cleaned. The balcony had not been swept , nor had the table been wiped. We found an anti-anxiety pill on the balcony table. Thank God before a child did. My child brought me the monopoly box ridden with white capsules of some sort. Again, thank GOD they brought the pills to an adult. We stay in condos and beach homes frequently. We have N E V E R stayed in a place that was this N A S T Y and U N S A F E! Totally unacceptable. And YES, the rental agent was contacted. Someone came and re-cleaned. Little consolation.
