  • Located right on Highway 30A, this bright and cheery beach retreat is the perfect vacation spot for a family vacation. Beach Daze is just 240 feet from the Seacrest Drive Beach Access. Right out your front door is access to the scenic bike/walking trail, the best way to explore South Walton.

    Once you walk up to the spacious deck and open the doors, you will find a classic-styled Florida beach home. With 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen and living area, you will find plenty of room for a party of 6. Relax on the porch with your morning coffee or a glass of wine while enjoying a captivating view of the sunrise and sunset.

    With its Seacrest location, you're nestled in the peaceful area between Prominence and Alys Beach. Enjoy family activities, shopping and live music at The Big Chill in Prominence. Venture down to Alys for fine dining, festivals, and to sightsee the impeccable architecture. Enjoy bird watching and hiking at Camp Creek Lake (a rare coastal dune lake), or Deer Lake State Park.

    If you love the beaches, outdoors, world class dining, and a taste of classic 30A, Beach Daze is your place!

The 19-mile paved bike path that parallels the entire length of the scenic highway 30A makes getting around easy.

    An initial Benchmark signature box of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 1 pack of kitchen wipes and liners for each trashcan plus 2 washing machine pods. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of facial and bath soaps/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom.

House was very clean, located on 30A, but was a little difficult to fine at night We were unable to get the TV in the middle bedroom to come on (probably operator error) but the other two TVs were fine. Easy access ti beach if you don't mind climbing stairs. Numerous places to eat. Would definitely stay here again.

My stay at Beach Daze was amazing!!! The location is great with easy access to the beach across the street. They do need to update the stairs and porch as the wood is falling apart and someone could seriously get hurt walking up and down them. I would highly recommend this place as somewhere to stay on vacation and will return!

Week Trip to the Panhandle

The property is in an amazing location right off 30A and within a block of the public beach access. The house itself was comfortable; however, there are a few things we wish were updated/changed. The primary bed was uncomfortable and the frame itself was not sturdy. The showers had great water pressure; however, the shower head could have used an upgrade to change the style for the water coming out and the drains were clogged and would backup within moments of starting your shower. The living room was extremely comfortable with plenty of seating. The kitchen was open and easy to move around while cooking. Overall it was a great home... just a few things needs to be updated or changed to take it to the next level. Location is A+ and great for beach access, bike rides along the trail, and going to nearby communities.

Great location

This is a very nice and clean listing, the location can't be beat with just a few steps to the public beach access and close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. The unit had everything we needed. Check in was seamless. One opportunity for improvement would be to place some more chairs on the front porch so larger parties can sit.

Beach Daze- Hot Days- Cold Beer

Awesome trip! So grateful for the experience. 30A is a Hootin’ time, the house perfectly hit all expectations, didn’t exceed any expectations, but was satisfactory. I wish the ice machine worked better, I wish they had beach towels, and a couple bikes. That’s my feedback, great location 5 freaking stars, electric.

Easy Beach Access

This house was perfect for all home cooked meals. Kitchen had everything we needed. The sidewalk outside was excellent for us to get up and walk/jog each day!! About a mile down we went to The Hub for food, drinks, and entertainment - we all had a blast!! Getting the cooler up and down the steps to the beach was new for us - but we handled it like pros!! The area was beautiful, I felt safe letting the teenagers walk around by themselves during the day and evening. Would definitely stay here again.

30a stay

It was nice and clean great location however mattress were horrible on all beds, only supplied with one towel per person! Kitchen furnishings were sparse, very few plates coffee cups and utensils! Also sofas were only love seats which lent to uncomfortable seating at night when movie watching.

First, let’s start with the pros. The location is great! It’s very close to everything. That’s the only thing that was positive. We checked in on Sunday and the first night, we found 3 cockroaches in the kitchen. These were it palmetto bugs as they didn’t fly. I sent them a message immediately and they responded by saying they will come and cod a thorough cleaning and contact pest control. The trash bin in the kitchen was missing a kid and the bottom of the bin was wet and damp. There were no kitchen bags and my wife and kids didn’t want to sleep until the cleaning and pest control would be done. We found a hotel the next night expecting it to be complete in the next 48 hours. We came back and really didn’t find much improvement and the pest control wasn’t done until 2 days before we check out. We continue to find more cockroaches and their responses were very slow and never received a kitchen bin with a lid or any extra trash bags for the house. They agreed to compensate us 15% of what we paid for the whole week which I didn’t think it was enough. I spent almost that for a one night at another hotel. I’m waiting for them to respond regarding their explanation and asked to increase the compensation to at least 25% of our total booking. The house is very roomy but just needs a lot of tlc and maintenance throughout the house including new mattresses and replace the carpets as they have many stains in each bedroom.

Also many everyday needs are in short supply. Toilet paper, towels, washing soap etc. Certainly any large group would first have to go grocery shopping due to such short supply. Otherwise the cabin is nice and location is nice and parking is very good. Cleanliness also was very good. For the price it is a good deal in that area. Management was very good.

We cook and the cookware is unusable. All the non-stick cookware is peeling and gets in your food. There was not a large enough skillet to cook scrambled eggs for a family of 4. There was one nice stainless skillet, but it had a stain or something on it that I could not scrub off so I refused to use it. The utensils were terrible and would bend. I purchased a spatula to leave. There is no sheet pan or 9x13 pan. There are no paring knives. The knives they do have are very dull. I had a difficult time cutting an apple. I had to cook biscuits on a sheet of aluminum foil. I also purchased some take-a-long containers to leave as well for people to store food in. Very disappointing. It is time to restock the kitchen. I do not mind the mis-matched plates and bowls. If you want to use plastic cups or kid-friendly cups, you will need to bring your own. The only drinking cups were glasses.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is good for a weekly rental, but NOT for a monthly rental. (our visit was for two months) Outside of house needs some TLC, inside of the house was very clean except for the stained carpet in the bedrooms which needs replaced! Appliances worked as they should and were very clean, kitchen pots and pans are old and need replaced, should have more kitchen utensils, bake ware and microwavable dishes for long term renters. There is a Roku TV in the living room, but no instruction on how to use it or the remotes. We are not acquainted with the “cut the cord options”. Lost internet connection on a daily basis. Benchmark and the cable company tried to resolve the problem. Great location, Seacrest beach just steps away! 30A is a beautiful area.

Thanksgiving Holiday

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good four days at Beach Daze over the Thanksgiving holidays. Location is a plus as sits right off on 30A with easy access to major highways - stores etc. Beach access was a short walk to the west and found these beaches a pleasant relief to the overcrowded and controlled beach environment to the East at Rosemary Beach - Seacrest etc. (Approx 1 mile) House itself was not modern but comfortable , very clean but lacking in basics amenities . Example No extra garbage can liners - one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom - only four sets of towels for a three bedroom house. Besides that everything worked , beds were comfortable , a lot of parking , and best of all beach was across the street. I would rent again .
