    Nestled under the trees by the ocean lies this gorgeous cottage! You'll be close to many local attractions like Panama City Beach. Bring your bathing suit and your family for a fun-filled day out on the sandy shores splashing around in the water or reading your favorite book under the shade of an umbrella. Afterward, you can drive by St. Andrews State Park and take a lovely stroll on the pier. Be sure to check out Zoo World, less than four miles away, or check out the many shopping, dining, and golfing opportunities nearby.



    Back at the cottage, you'll be glad to know there are plenty of lovely amenities for you to enjoy, such as the private enclosed yard, the full kitchen with stainless steel appliances for you to cook up a meal for you and your guests, a washer/dryer, and an outdoor shower. Walk in through the front door and take in the seaside aesthetic in the living area, complete with a comfortable blue couch to take a quick power nap on. So the location is ok, it’s not walkable to anything so bring a car or do ride service. The house has a lot of potential but the lightning is weird, the space is oddly laid out, and the backyard is not really usable. The “hot tub” was a weird half filled bug soup. The WiFi didn’t work and the host came by the next day but couldn’t fix it. Also so many bugs somehow got in the first night because there is a crack under the front door. Don’t leave the light on that attracts them. The kitchen has plates and bowls and such but zero cooking basics - not even a salt shaker. The bedroom and bathroom was actually great, comfortable bed, clean large bathroom. The host did take care of the water that was backing up in the tub. The house was cute and luckily it was available when everything else was booked. But needs a host willing to make improvements and fix what needs to be fixed BEFORE guests check in.

Beach trip review

Overall, we really enjoyed staying at this location. It was nice and private and clean. The only thing that was slightly frustrating was that there were several things on the listing that were not available. There was no hot tub when we visited, and no internet as well. Other than those things, we were pleased with our stay.

The first thing I noticed was that the exterior of the property was not well maintained. The yard was overgrown and lacked the curb appeal that was represented in the listing photos.Once inside, the home appeared generally clean, but there were several issues. When we pulled out the sofa bed, we found trash underneath it. The floors had not been thoroughly swept or mopped, particularly around the corners. There were also no extra pillows or a comforter provided for the sofa bed, which made it difficult for our guests to use comfortably.The biggest disappointment was the outdoor area. We specifically chose this property because of the advertised backyard and hot tub. Unfortunately, the backyard was in very poor condition. There were weeds throughout the area, several of the plastic chairs were broken, and the hot tub was dirty and unusable. The hot tub was also an inflatable model, and the steps leading into it were broken, making it unsafe to access. As a result, we were unable to use one of the main amenities that influenced our decision to book this property.I have attached photos and videos documenting the condition of the property upon our arrival. The images used in the listing do not accurately reflect its current condition and appear to be outdated. Based on what we experienced, I believe the listing was misleading and did not accurately represent the property we rented and this is not worth what we paid.
