Welcome to Barefeet Retreat @ Long Beach Resort, imagine beginning your long-awaited, well-deserved vacation by walking into this beautiful unit at Long Beach! You may never want to leave! Enjoy this spacious condominium with its floor to ceiling gulf views from every room or step out onto your huge private balcony to watch the dolphins play along 1300 feet of sugar white beach!

This Condominium is upscale living at its best, with a king-size bed in the master, two queen-size beds in the second bedroom, and another king bed and twin bed in the third suite. All bedrooms have premium mattresses. There are TVs in all bedrooms, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare meals in the unit, and the dining room has plenty of seating with three additional chairs at the breakfast bar! All bedrooms have a full private bath, with double vanity sinks. The deck has a full-size table with seating for enjoying those sunrise and sunsets from your balcony.

Long Beach is ideally located near all the great restaurants, amusement parks and shopping (Walmart is across the street!). There is a huge lagoon pool (6800 square feet) with islands and waterfalls, two Polynesian pools (one is seasonally heated), whirlpool spas, poolside bar and grill (seasonal), onsite jet ski/umbrella chair rental, and 24-hour security with gated access and plenty of parking.

Please note prior to booking there is a 25-age requirement to book this condo & resort. Person who books must be 25 at the time of booking & present during the entire stay. This is strictly enforced. We do not allow 3rd party bookings. Failure to meet minimum age requirement upon check in guests will be evicted and will not be refunded for their stay. After booking a signed rental agreement & a copy of the person driver's license who booked will be requested. Rental Agreement & Driver's license must be sent back within 48 hours of booking to secure your reservation. If no signed rental agreement & driver's license is sent back within 48 hours guests forfeit reservation & will not be refunded.

This property does not allow Spring Breakers under 25 years of age. Absolutely no exceptions.

No more than 3 vehicles are allowed for this condo. No exceptions. 3 parking passes are included in the booking total.
9 wristbands are supplied for guests and left inside the unit. Any that are damaged or missing during inspection guests will be charged to replace them.

No smoking if any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay a $300.00 fine.

Check In Time is 4pm check out time is 10AM if you are not out of the unit by 10:15 am, you agree to be charged 50.00 per half hour charge.

Quiet Hours are 10pm to 8am. If we are notified by security of guests be disturbing to others, you could be evicted with no refund.

No unregistered guests allowed in the property; violation of this rule will result in immediate eviction with no refunds given. We do not allow extra guests - including children of any age, we count heartbeats - and only allow the number of occupants, that the unit sleeps. This includes visitors as well. This unit sleeps 9 people max per the fire marshal. No exceptions. If the fire marshal is called to the unit because you are over the legal occupancy, you will be responsible for the fine associated with him coming out.

This condo is not pet friendly. If we are notified that you have a pet in the condo you will be evicted immediately with no refund. If any evidence of a pet is found during inspection after your checkout you will be charged a $500.00 violation fee.

Failure to take out trash or excessive cleans caused from guest's additional charges will apply. The management company will have the right to charge the guest between $150.00- $300.00 for failing to abide by this rule.

Please note we only provide a starter pack of Amenities, just to get you through the first night.
One roll of paper towels, 1 toilet paper for each bathroom, 1 trash bag for each trashcan, 1 sponge for the kitchen, 1 cascade, 2 pods for laundry, 1 bar soap, 1 shampoo for each bathroom, & 1 conditioner for each bathroom. We do not provide these items for your entire stay.

We respectfully ask all guests not to move the furniture around. All the furniture must be placed back where it was found. During the checkout inspection if furniture is moved around & not put back additional charges will apply.

Check in is 4pm central on the day of arrival & checkout is 10am central on the day of departure. We do not allow early check ins. By booking guest agrees to wait to go to the property until the 4pm check in time or when you have been told by the office that the unit is ready.

Failure to check out by 10am will result in additional charges. Check out time is 10 AM: if you are not out of the unit by 10:15 am, you agree to be charged 50.00 per half hour until all guests have completely vacated the unit. Please be respectful to the guest checking in behind you & please make sure you & your party are checked out on time. As our cleaners are on very tight schedules.

The damage waiver included in the booking breakdown does not cover missing items. Examples: missing wristbands, missing beach towels, missing kitchen ware, missing linen, or missing parking passes. Guests will be responsible for paying for those charges.

There is a damage waiver included in the booking breakdown that covers accidental damages. The rate in the booking breakdown is for stays less than 28 days.
If a guest books a 28-90 night stay the rate does increase for those reservations. Guests will be responsible for the difference in the price.
Rates 28-59 nights will be $280.00 for the coverage & 60-90 nights will be $450.00 for the coverage. If you have any questions regarding this charge please inquire first before booking.

"This is to inform you about upcoming renovation work that will be taking place on our buildings starting about August 2025 with completion expected by April 2026.

Key points to understand:

· The work scope will include:

Repair concrete columns, balcony slabs, and hallway walkways.

Repair to stucco including mortar repair, sealing, and painting.

· Minimal disruption:

Although our contractor is committed to minimizing disruptions to your daily life by adhering to designated work hours, and maintaining clean work areas, our resort will be considered a major construction site.

· Access management:

Access to your condo and the beach will be maintained throughout the project, with clear signage and communication regarding any temporary alterations to entry points.

If we include resealing the walkways there will be a short time when you will NOT be able to access your condo.

Access to your balcony will be restricted when work is being performed in that area.

Pools will be off-limits for most of the construction time.

· Noise considerations:

While we cannot eliminate construction noise, we will take measures to mitigate it as much as possible.

When the contractor is jackhammering on the concrete you should expect it to be very noisy."

  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Fun for the whole Family

Despite the lagoon pool not being fully opened to swim in, the overall property was perfect for our family getaway. Access to the beach was perfect for my 80-year-old MIL and the location was super convenient. Will keep this one in the favorites for future stays.

Disappointing

Beware. The Nest AC cuts off randomly. Front 2 rooms are constantly hot. Unit is old and outdated. Didn’t feel comfortable or clean. We left a day early due to cleanliness and uncomfortable accommodations. To each his own this unit far below other places we have stayed in PCB and Long Beach Resort. Our enjoyment wasn’t what it could have been.

Condo was very clean and in a great location. The laundry room had extras for the beach that were very nice including a tent, wagon, kids floats, toys, chairs and umbrella. The view from the balcony was amazing. The king bed's mattresses could be replaced, but overall was ok. I would definitely stay here again.

Great family condo

The condo was perfect for the 6 of us!! Everyone had an ocean front room!! Enough room for everyone to sit comfortably!! Everything you need to cook a meal is in the condo. Dated but a great space. Great location to walk to restaurants and Walmart. Loved being able to do laundry in the condo so I didn’t have a lot to do when I got home. Beach items available in the condo for use. We did have to rent the nice beach chairs on the beach with the large umbrellas.

Outdated, but very spacious. No chairs on one balcony so we couldn’t enjoy sitting there. Oversized furniture in family room made it hard to maneuver luggage around. Beds were comfortable. Only one bath towel per guest so be prepared to wash towels often.

Beautiful view!

The balcony was huge with plenty of room for my family (3 adults, 2 older teens) to hang out on, with a big dining table and two lounge chairs. The condo was spotless and beautiful upon our arrival. We loved the easy check in process! Not having to go stand in line at a desk after traveling was awesome! Contact with the property manager before our arrival was quick and polite. I had questions about a grocery delivery service and they were very accommodating:) The mattresses were not very comfortable, not unbearable, but I would add a topper to make it more comfortable for guests if it was me. It did not ruin our stay for sure, just my back was sore after 6 nights and it made me miss my mattress at home so much. The only real damper was the bedroom with the two queen beds did not cool well at all. I noticed others had mentioned this as well in their reviews and there was a stand up fan already set up and turned on in that bedroom when we arrived…so I did not contact the property manager since they were obviously already aware of the issue. We did not open the balcony curtains in that room either so that is but why it was hot before that is mentioned lol. Thankfully, there were two other stand up fans in the condo so we used all of them in that bedroom for my teens. I even had one of the fans in the doorway trying to blow the cold air in from the living room but it did not work very well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time!!

Great property

The house accommodates so many, which is hard to find. Lots of beds, living room furniture, and great seating on the balcony. Normally you look at places and there is barely living room seating - not here! We were all able to hang out together each night. The kitchen is stocked full of everything you can think of which was nice. We got on touch with maintenance once and they were quick to respond. I will say, there is black mold outside on the white door frame that needs a good scrubbing and in the door tracks. We were hoping to clean up the water and black residue (we assume mold) in the door tracks so we didn't touch it but there was no mop to do so. The washing machine also appears to be moldy but didn't get on our clothes. Would be stay here again? For sure.

The room was very nice. Everything was clean except the floors. We used a white towel to wipe up water and the towel was very dirty. It had to be washed. One other there were four adults in the hot tub after hours. Very loud and no security checked on them. Minor items We will choose you again.

Beach break

This is the second time we have stayed in this unit. Everything you need prepare meals etc. Is here. There are even beach toys for the kids. The unit is large open and clean. The beds are not comfortable, hard, the sliding door is difficult to open. Beautiful view ,nice clean pools, large balcony.

This property was exactly what we were looking for. It had the perfect sleeping setup for each family group. It had a large living/dining space. The kitchen was very spacious and had the pots/pans that were needed. The location was great. We had a great view of the ocean from balcony too. If I had to say anything negative, it would be the kitchen did not have space for groceries so I moved around the bowls and dishes to make room for the groceries. Also, I believe either the rug and/or floors had not been mopped/cleaned. My grandbaby had “black” feet and hands after crawling around on the floor/rug. Also the air conditioning didn’t work real well in the bedroom with the 2 queen beds. BUT my family had an awesome time here. We would come back again. We could not have asked for a better vacation.
