Notre chalet, "Miller’s High Life", est situé sur un terrain d'un hectare au bord de l'océan avec environ un demi-acre clôturé pour que vos compagnons canins puissent marcher et courir librement. Cette zone de la pointe est appelée Mud Cove, où la marée basse fournit une immense barre de sable pour les bombardements et la marée haute permet une pêche exceptionnelle. Le chalet contient une grande salle qui comprend la cuisine, le salon et la salle à manger avec trois portes coulissantes en verre offrant une vue panoramique sur l'océan. Étape par les portes à un porche d'écran pour profiter des levers et des couchers de soleil de votre balançoire. Le porche d'écran et la chambre à coucher principale s'ouvrent sur la plate-forme pour prendre un bain de soleil avec un escalier de retour à la douche extérieure d'eau chaude incluse. Hamac, table de pique-nique, balançoire et barbecue à gaz sont sous la maison pour la cuisine et le divertissement en plein air. Planchers de bois raclés partout avec tapis de laine de Karastan dans la grande chambre des maîtres. Un 42 "écran plat T. est dans la chambre des maîtres et un écran plat de 46" T. V. est dans la grande salle. La moitié de bain attaché à la chambre principale avec salle de bain complète dans le hall. La chambre "Minnie" a des lits jumeaux, un coffre, un bureau en osier et une chaise. Maître a un lit king, des tables de nuit, un petit coffre et une chaise. Deck a des bancs en teck, deux chaises Adirondack et deux chaises en bois. Pour le dîner, les adultes peuvent s'asseoir à l'îlot de la cuisine sur les chaises du directeur avec les enfants à côté d'eux à la table à manger. Meubles de salon comprend un grand canapé, futon queen, futon chaise avec repose-pieds, deux tables basses parfaites pour jouer aux cartes, un L. L. Lit de chien de denim de haricot, huche de porcelaine et deux chaises en osier pour s'asseoir si vous êtes mouillé de nager. Courtepointes faites à la main et beaucoup de livres et d'oreillers pour se lover et lire. Quarante-cinq minutes de Tallahassee et quinze minutes du pont pour dîner chez Angelo ou The Tropical Trader. Vingt minutes à St. Parcours de golf de la Baie James. Longue allée pour un stationnement facile et laveuse / sécheuse dans la salle de stockage sous la maison.

We loved everything about the property. Our favorite part was being able to sit out on the screened in porch, Looking out to the ocean. Sitting on the beach in front of the home is great. No one else was around but one other couple. The house is well stocked especially the kitchen. We used the gas grill every night. We went to My-way seafood in Panacea and purchased local fish, shrimp and spiney lobster. So good! Highly recommend them for fresh seafood. The house is well taken care of and very clean. Wendy is a wonderful, thoughtful host. Loved all the goodies she left for us. She communicated with us on everything we needed to know about the home very clearly. Easy check-in and out.Highly recommend Wendy’s place. We will be back.Thanks again! Adele & John

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful and peaceful oceanfront cottage! The views from the deck, screened porch, and inside the cottage were beautiful, as well as the sounds of the surf. We saw dolphins, pelicans, ospreys, ducks, and other shore birds. The place is so well appointed - we didn't want to leave. We planned to cook in since the kitchen has everything you would need, but we ended up eating out in Panacea instead since the food was so good. The bike path is also so convenient and fun. Communication was excellent. We can't wait to return!

The Forgotten Coast

A cute and cozy cottage right on the beach. Perfect location. Fishing off the beach was great. Caught Spotted Trout, Whiting, Ladyfish and Sail Catfish. The cottage was spotless and nicely furnished and decorated. Definitely want to go back for another visit and hopefully stay for a couple of weeks. One week was just not enough.

Quiet perfection!

We have stayed with Wendy at her beautiful cottage four times now. That should tell you everything you need to know. We are dog lovers and Wendy has the perfect set up. Large fenced in yard dog bed and even dog friendly quilts. It is rural so you have to be ready to truly relax.

Peaceful Paradise

The cottage was perfect for our first "empty nester" vacation after sending the kids off to college. Ms Wendy provided thoughtful welcome gifts (eggs, muffins, jam, wine!) that were very much appreciated as well as the dog bed and beautiful quilts to keep warm in the colder months. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

Loved it!

This home with its incredible view was one of the most comfortable, cozy cottages we have ever stayed at. Extremely well stocked with anything you might need. The screened deck with rockers and a swing was a great place to watch both sunrises and sunsets. A beautiful, natural location to unwind! Wendy was a great host - appreciated all the extras!

Perfection

There are so many wonderful things to say about this cottage! It was exactly like the listing but better. Wendy does an amazing job making it warm and cozy and feel like home as soon as you walk in. The place was super clean ,smelled amazing, and had everything we needed for our stay and more….the personal touches and surprises were so heartwarming and thoughtful. This is the best rental we have stayed in hands down. Wendy was great with communication and the entire week was easy and not stressful . The location was great! It was quiet, beautiful, and deserted in February…perfect. The sandbar was so much fun and we can’t wait to go back!.

Superb comfortable stay at perfect cottage

This was our first stay at the cottage but certainly will not be our last. This lovely home by the sea is superbly located a few steps from the beach. Wendy is a sweet owner who provided such an incredible stay and excellent communication. Our small family and doggie had a wonderful, relaxing time walking on beach, watching sharks and dolphins, and enjoying amazing sunrises and even more beautiful sunsets and starry nights. The cottage was super clean upon arrival, smelled fresh, and a lovely bottle of wine greeted us on counter. Wendy thoughtfully provided generous starter breakfast supplies. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking. The beds, sheets, and pillows soooo comfortable! Pet quilts and bed were provided for pooch’s comfort too. We adored the under area of home with rope lighting and shower, the fully enclosed yard, the million dollar views from deck and screened in porch. We just sat back and enjoyed EVERYTHING!

Quiet bliss

Our stay was wonderful in this beautiful cottage on the beach! Our host made sure all needs were met. Comfortable beds and nice bedding. Great balcony and screened in porch. Books, games and dvds available. Well equipped kitchen. Nice furniture and artwork. This was our third stay and we will return.

Quiet and Beautiful

This was a perfect vacation until Helene made us leave. However, the house was great, the beach was great and the host was beyond great. She prepared us with every bit of information we could want and even kept up with the weather and mandates, so we didn't have to. I look forward to making up for our shortened vacation.

Home Away From Home

Wendy is one of the best host we have ever had in all of our years traveling together. We arrived to a remarkably clean cottage just steps away from the ocean. We immediately felt at home with the nice gestures of water, wine and breakfast items she had for us to enjoy. The cottage truly has a million dollar view. Relaxing and quiet

It was the best beach vacation. House was cozy and quiet. The beach was almost empty. We would walk the sandbars far out at low tide. Never left the house just stocked the fridge and made all our meals at the house. House was clean and communication with Wendy was great. Our dogs enjoyed the front yard and their dog bed that was there.
