« I was visiting family in Alaska and the Forrestlane Cottage was perfect. The location was close by and the cottage itself was ideal. The footprint is small and cozy, and the place was clean and exceptionally well maintained, with everything I needed for a quick trip. The hosts were very responsive to any questions that I had and helpful throughout my visit. I would highly recommend this property and will to look to book again any time I'm in the area. »

« Location was perfect for us as we were there for the Arctic winter games. Close to Palmer and Hatcher’s’s pass (beautiful). View from the little kitchen is fabulous.Warm welcome from the host who lives near by and took time to chat. It takes a little practice to figure out when start and stop the fireplace in order to keep an even temperature throughout the night but it is feasible (winter stay). »

« The host provided good directions and check in instructions. We had a very nice stay. The cottage was very clean and quiet. We felt very safe. Please note, upon entering, the renter should read the set of instructions left by the host. We didn’t, and we ended up fiddling with the heater, and then we had to contact the host. Our host was very responsive and showed up right away to explain how to control the heater. The host was very friendly. I would recommend this cottage for any couple. »

« We loved our stay here for our first trip to Alaska! Chris met us there when we arrived late into the evening due to flight issues. The place was very accommodating and beautiful with a beautiful view! We saw moose and calves every night. One evening a bear came to visit while we were in the hot tub. It was centrally located so that we could fish and site see in many spots. We drove about 3 1/2 hrs to Denali. We flew into Anchorage and was just a 45 min drive away. Highly recommend them and...
