Welcome to Stargazer — a stylish, spacious, art-filled vacation rental in the heart of Palm Springs. The sunlit living room benefits from a flatscreen TV and floor-to-ceiling windows that make a feature of the blue skies and palm trees beyond. Along the corridor is where you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen and dining area that comfortably seats six. A games room with a ping pong table and board games completes the sociable indoor setup. The property’s attractive modern finishes and pops of color continue into the three well-proportioned bedrooms. The primary guest room boasts a private en suite, while the additional two guestrooms share a spacious second bathroom. All three rooms benefit from sliding doors leading directly to the private resort-style backyard with a pool, outdoor dining areas, and spectacular mountain views.
Stargazer is perfectly positioned to enjoy all that Palm Springs has to offer. Make the most of the year-round warm temperatures with nature hikes in the surrounding mountains, and discover the many shopping, dining and entertainment options on the property’s doorstep.
OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
The outdoor space is the jewel in the crown of this quintessentially Californian vacation home. Fenced in and surrounded by trees, this space is completely private and for the sole use of guests. Cool off under the hot sun in the pool, or seek out a shady spot and relax on a comfortable lounger.
As the sun sets over the surrounding mountains, fire up the grill for an al fresco dinner in the outdoor dining area. Then, gather around the firepit and enjoy an evening spent under the stars.
** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. If you home has a spa or hot tub, heating the spa is included with your rental at no extra cost **
** Please Note: 1. This fee is not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms. 2. Pool heating may be added in minimum of 3 day blocks per request **
INDOOR LIVING SPACES
Open-plan living meets mid-century styling to create a comfortable indoor space with socializing at its heart.
The chic living room features ample seating for six, plus a flatscreen TV and neighborhood views to the front of the property. Head to the kitchen and you’ll find a well-stocked, open-plan kitchen with classic wood-fronted cabinets and stainless steel appliances. There’s seating for two at the breakfast bar for snacks and light bites, plus space for six at the dining table for long lunches and lavish dinners.
The games room can be accessed from the dining area and backyard, and features a ping pong table plus plenty of board games. Two swing chairs make the perfect spot for curling up with a coffee or a great book.
** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. *
SLEEPING QUARTERS
The primary suite is finished with yellow accents and has a sumptuous king-size bed, flat-screen TV, and direct access to the pool area. The attached ensuite bathroom features a large walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet, plus plenty of storage.
The second guest bedroom also has a sumptuous king-size bed and sliding doors to the backyard. This space has been thoughtfully finished with mid-century furnishings and stylish accents. The third bedroom features a queen-size bed and continues the vibrant yellow color scheme. This guest room also has direct access to the pool.
The second and third bedrooms share access to the property’s main bathroom. Finished with contemporary green tiling, it features a shower over the tub, plus a toilet and a vanity with storage.
THE LOCATION
The Stargazer property is located conveniently close to Palm Springs International Airport and is the perfect jumping-off point for enjoying all that the city has to offer. Palm Canyon Drive is a short drive away and is where you’ll find dozens of dining options as well as some of the best shops, boutiques, galleries, and cabarets.
Nature lovers will appreciate that Joshua Tree National Park is within driving distance of the property. Many of the most beautiful hiking trails in Palm Springs are also easily accessible, and some offer year-round waterfalls that are ideal for cooling off in the warmer months. There are several great golf courses nearby, too.
