Great location

Close to downtown and 3 minute drive to the convention center. Very beautiful place. Door locks are a little flimsy but no big deal. Overall great experience

I’ll be staying here over and over again. The place is very well maintained, it’s conveniently located, the common areas are big enough for groups, and there are quite a few surprises around the property!

Great Girls’ Trip Destination!

Everything about this property was perfect for our girls’ trip! We were celebrating a birthday, a bride, and a high school/college reunion all in one weekend and this location was fantastic! You have everything you need if you want to stay on site your whole trip and your walking distance to all the fun of you want to hit the town. The property managers are attentive and responsive and we felt very safe and cared for during our entire stay!! Would absolutely recommend to anyone with a group coming to Palm Springs!

Birthday weekend

Stayed there for my husband’s 50th with friends and family. The suites allowed us to have our own space and gather in the main living area and exterior. Days around the heated pool and nights around the fire pit. It was excellent. The worst part was the dishwasher that was an issue the whole weekend but they did send a service guy out twice. The listing is also a little confusion on the number of beds- but basically it’s 7 beds (queens and kings) ans 7 restrooms. And 3 living rooms with twin size couches.

Great family gathering place

This is our 2nd trip to the El Cid property-the last one was over 2 years ago. My wife and I hosted our 4 grown children and all of their spouses and 6 grandchildren ages 2 through 8. The property is laid out in such a way that each family could have its own private space but yet there are several central family gathering places including the largest unit with a full (Welk-appointed) kitchen, Fire pit for fun evening gatherings and the spectacular (hotel sized) pool. Any slight blips or issues with the property were immediately addressed by property management and we will definitely return to this property again.

Great stay at great property for groups

Just finished multi day offsite for my office at El Cid. Was the perfect set up for us. Everything was so easy, the property was immaculate, and communication with the host got an immediate response. Highly recommend!

El Cid! Yes!

Our family of 17 had an incredible stay at El Cid. The property owner was extremely responsive throughout the whole process of booking, checking in, ideas, etc. The pool area is so lovely, it was nearly impossible to pull the kids out to do other things! The adults especially enjoyed all the different comfy areas for chatting, catching up, and chilling out. Thank you for a memorable Thanksgiving! We highly recommend El Cid.

Simply the BEST!

Hands down the best vacation rental I have encountered! Everyone had their own space and the pool area is to die for. Communication was easy and the hosts were so helpful getting us set up with dinners, massages, etc. Already planning my next trip to come back!

El Cid was just perfect!!

El Cid was perfect for our joint birthday party celebration! Throughout the process of booking the hotel and various services, Jennifer and Jessica were in constant communication, which made things so much easier. The property itself was spotless. The pictures don't do it justice; swimming in that pool/drinking a cocktail/sitting around the firepit with those mountains in the background was pure bliss. 12 people slept comfortably, each in their own bed or pull out. We're already talking about returning not for anyone's birthday, but just to stay at this property. Not to mention, several chefs and bartenders have served at this property and know the ins and outs ... we barely had to leave the property.

Beautiful, Close To Downtown Property

This property exceeded expectations. Very convenient to all Palm Springs has to offer, beautiful & updated decor, comfortable and spacious. The pool area was great for our whole group with plenty of shade and comfortable outdoor furniture.

Best Bachelorette Party Venue

Hotel El Cid was the perfect location for my bachelorette party! The location to the downtown was perfect for a morning walk and a quick Uber ride back from dinner. The house itself was incredible with surprises around every corner (ex. costumer closet). The decor was perfect for a girl's trip with chic cabanas near the pool and a cozy firepit in the center of the property. The owner/staff were easy to work with and accommodated all our questions during booking. They also helped us identify concierge services in the area before arriving and were made check-in a breeze! 10/10 would recommend!

Great service

The staff and communication was amazing, and incredibly helpful. The one thing that I would recommend is more mirrors throughout the houses for getting ready. There was definitely not enough amongst 17 guest especially women. The other thing would be more toilet paper and paper towels. We had 2 rolls of toilet paper per room and 1 paper towel in the kitchen.

Perfect group stay!

I came with a group of 16 friends and we could not have had a better experience. Jen helped arrange a cocktail making class, personal chef, cooking class, and yoga class so we practically never had to leave the house! It was beautiful and so relaxing.

Fabulous place for a group getaway

I can’t imagine a better place for a group/large family getaway (especially during Covid). We had plenty of space, large bathrooms, gorgeous pool area and cozy fire pit. The place was incredibly clean and management was very responsive. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Super fun “motel”

The property seems like it used to be a hotel. There are so many great, fun little touches all over the property like a closet full of costumes. The main house kitchen is FULLY stocked with everything you need to cook and serve a meal. The outdoor patio table is great for a big dinner. Would definitely recommend this place for a bachelorette party, family reunion or company retreat.

Perfect for Family/Friends Milestone Birthday!

This place is absolutely incredible! I celebrated my 50th in style last weekend with family and friends and this hotel did not disappoint! From the concierge service to the massages to the onsite catering - everything was perfect! We could not have asked or found a better location to get together safely to celebrate my special day. We will ABSOLUTELY be back again and might even check out The Marley Hotel next!!!

Amazing Weekend at Hotel El Cid

Our group was celebrating a 50th Birthday and had a wonderful time at the property! We loved the decor of each room, the pool and outdoor dining space. The costume closet was a huge hit! Thanks to Jennifer and Jess for making our stay memorable! We’ll be back!

What a terrific property? Is it a hotel? Is it a home? It is the perfect group getaway destination. Amazing location right in the middle of Palm Springs with easy walking access to many amenities. The property itself is really great. 7 independent rooms/suites, 2 of which are directly accessible from the main house that has a big kitchen, dining room, and 2 living spaces. The property is high end but has lots of personal and eclectic touch including a closet full of costumes to add some colour to your evening. All the other suites are great and well appointed. The property is total fenced in and inside the gates you will also find a great pool, a few cabanas, a tented area with a large table, and outdoor bar and a gas fireplace with a lots of seating. We all loved it and can't wait to return.

Property and management exceeded all expectations

The pictures do not do the property justice. The pool and fire pit areas were fantastic. The rooms and kitchen we’re all very well appointed and easily/comfortably accommodated our group of 10 adults & 5 children. Property management was always prompt and helpful 24/7. The location was perfect-close to downtown, restaurants etc. We will definitely book this property again.

Great Family Reunion

We had a great family reunion at El Cid. It was perfect for our 4 families ranging in age from 15-82. There was plenty of space to spread out, and the common area was perfect for the whole group. Has everything you need if you choose to cook. Has extra touches like Kind bars, water, and K-cups. We loved the fire pit and the pool. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway location in Palm Springs.

One of the most beautiful properties in Palm Springs!

I had a group of about 18 people to celebrate Halloween, gay pride and a milestone birthday at Hotel El Cid. All I can say is that the hotel was beyond all expectations. Impeccably decorated, perfectly clean, and just wonderful. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature, there were plenty of places to relax and get sun by the pool. We really appreciated the poolside bar, and very large table for meals outside. We will most definitely be back!
