Located in the historic Ocotillo Lodge, our mid-century bungalow is whimsical, light & airy, and includes a private patio and heated community pool/spa. Our updated unit at the Ocotillo Lodge retains many of the original architectural elements designed by architects Palmer and Krisel. The stylish decor is mid-century style with chic colors. The one-bedroom bungalow has plenty of natural light, with floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area & bedroom.

Both living room and bedrooms have direct access to the patio, so here`s your chance to truly enjoy the best of indoor/outdoor living. You have a private patio to cook/enjoy meals al-fresco, prepared on your own grill. Meticulous details & accents bring the outdoor elements indoors, evoking a seamless experience of the soothing, natural surroundings for which Palm Springs is known.

The bedroom features a plush king-sized bed and calming tones that will give you that perfect night`s sleep. The bedroom offers easy access to the oversized bathroom, featuring double-sinks and tiled walk-in shower. There`s also a full-size sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked, and opens out to a dining area. Once you step outside of the unit, the large swimming pool and spa are both just steps from your door.

Originally built in 1956 by famed architects William Krisel & the Alexanders, the Ocotillo Lodge started out as a hotel, and is one of Palm Springs` most stunning mid-century gems. As a guest, you will have full access to the facilities, including the famous champagne-cork shaped pool, two hot tubs, fitness room, and lush desert landscaping. You`ll truly feel like one of the many celebrities who have frequented this famous hangout spot over the years.

You’re renting the entire bungalow and patio area. Make yourself at home, as everything is yours to enjoy exclusively!

Our property is professionally managed by a full service vacation rental agency, so your trip will be worry-free from beginning to end. We will take care of everything from hosted check-in to departure, and will be available for anything you need along the way. We are also available to handle any special or a-la-carte requests, including pre-arrival grocery shopping and arrangement of transportation and/or tours.

**No parties or large social gatherings of any kind are permitted at this location!**
Neighbors have been notified that this property is a vacation rental and are encouraged to call a hotline to dispatch authorities to investigate any disturbances. If the city issues a violation, guest will be responsible for payment of any fine(s) and may be evicted with no refund.

- Minimum age for primary renting guest is 25.
- Daytime occupancy is 6 people.
-Overnight occupancy is 2 people.
- Maximum of 1 vehicles allowed. Please utilize driveway parking before using street parking.
- The City imposes a strict noise ordinance for vacation rentals. No music is allowed outside at any time, including music coming from inside that can be heard at the property line, and no noise at all is allowed outside after 10pm.
- The City requires a signed written contract for all guests, as well as a copy of the primary renter`s government ID. This will be taken care of during check-in.
- The City requires each guest to pay an 11.5% Transient Occupancy Tax and a 1% Tourism Business Improvement District assessment for stays less than 28 days. If your stay is 28 days or more, taxes do not need to be paid.
- PLEASE NOTE: The City will begin charging guests an additional 1% Palm Springs Tourism Infrastructure District on December 1, 2026. For all bookings with checkin dates starting 12/1, guests will be responsible for this additional payment.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
- Check-in time is 4PM, and check-out is promptly by 11AM.
- Our onsite greeter will meet you at the home and give you a tour.
- Late check-outs without prior approval with incur a $250 fee, as we need time to get the house ready for the next guest.

PETS
- One pet is allowed (under 25 lbs), with a fee of $100. Pet must be approved and fee paid prior to check-in. Any signs of pets on the property without our knowledge will incur an additional $500 fee. Having more than one pet will be cause for eviction.

NO SMOKING
- The entire complex is a smoke-free property. Any signs of smoking in the unit or on the patio will incur an additional $250 fee.

CLEANING
The final cleaning after your checkout is included in your reservation quote. For stays longer than 6 weeks, guest will be responsible for the cost of a mid-stay clean every 30 days. Fund will be collected from guest as mid-stay cleanings occur.

INSURANCE FEE for Vrbo & Direct Bookings (does not apply to Airbnb bookings)
Guest is responsible for the service fee below, depending on length of stay:
● $99: 1-29 nights
● $450: 30-59 nights
● $150: each additional 30-night block
