I booked this property abouy a month in advance through Expedia. I got a confirmation email AND my card was cherged for the stay. When I arrived, there was no check-in desk (it is contactless), but a maintenance staff was there and said an email would come to me at 4pm with my access code. When 4:30 came along and I still hadn't received anything, I called the number for the property. They said they had no record of my reservation and that I would have to contact Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they also said they had no record of my reservation, even after I shared all the details about my Itinerary number and other identifying facts. After several more phone calls between the property and Expedia, I gave up and booked two rooms at the Palm Springs Hilton (which was very nice, if you're wondering). I was planning to dispute the charges once I returned, but then I got the email prompting me to review my stay at this property that claimed I hadn't booked anything. Not sure if the issue lies with Black Haus or Expedia or both, but it was a terrible experience.
I have no idea if the property is nice or not because I only ever saw the parking lot. The maintenance man was very nice.
