This secluded Palm Desert estate home sits on a private 1-acre compound with 2 separate living structures surrounded by date palm trees, and connected through the expansive gardens.

Outside, The Palms has a private pickle ball court, regulation bocce ball court, large putting green with bunkers and pitching greens, and private pool with spa and waterslide.

Main House:

The 3500 sqft main house features an inviting open floor plan with 5 bedrooms, 4 baths (2 king en-suites) and 9 beds including roll away cot and pull-out couch. With multiple sitting areas, entertaining kitchen, wet bar, large dining table, pool table and other games in the great room, and easy access to the pool. Note: A security fence can be set up around the pool on request or removed to better enjoy the view.  

The main house’s fully appointed chef’s kitchen opens to the family, living, and dining rooms. The main house offers many seating areas indoors and out to gather, play games, or cozy up around the working gas fireplace for a movie and some popcorn on the giant 82” TV, or hook up your personal gaming console to play your favorite games. Every bedroom is also equipped with a smart TV that can access your favorite streaming content. The dining table comfortably seats 12, with seating in the breakfast nook for another 5 and seating at the kitchen bar on 4 swivel stools. The large adjoining covered patio and pool deck are perfect for entertaining with a large gas barbecue grill, pool, water slide, and spa as well as access to the casita by a paved walkway. Outdoor dining accommodates 12, with additional space at the outdoor couch and coffee table. 

Casita

The 1800 sqft Casita hosts another 3 bedrooms (all en-suites) and 3 baths with 6 beds plus a pull-out sofa, 2 wet bars (no cooking appliances allowed due to recent code change), laundry, and living space for those times you may need some extra space. One of the bedrooms is situated with a full-sized crib and glider for families travelling with infants. This space is perfect for the teens, grandparents, or new parents for a little extra privacy.

Game Room: The game room is full of games including arcade style consoles, a poker table, air hockey, basketball, and foosball. It is adjacent to the pickleball court offers Jack-and-Jill access to the Casita’s rear bunk room through the shared access bathroom. IT also hosts a mini-fridge and wetbar.

Summary:

The Palms at Mountain View is perfect for multiple families or multiple generations to come together. The large casita is situated with enough distance for privacy but close enough proximity to still be part of the fun. There is over 10,000 sq-ft of grass lawn between the casita and the main house with infinite possibilities for active play or relaxing. Enjoy a morning coffee or a sunset cocktail from the enclosed front patio. With nearly 360-degree mountain views from several different seating areas around the property there are many options to enjoy the desert mountain skyline. 

Enjoy the private pickle ball court, adjustable basketball hoop, regulation bocce ball court, or work on your golf short game on the putting green chipping from any area of the property you want. Watch the falling stars in the evening year-round, and in the summer enjoy the magical drone of cicadas.

Main house kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, place settings, and kitchen essentials including a refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, Keurig Duo, Nespresso machine, Crock-Pot, stand-mixer, Dutch oven, kettle, toaster, blender and ample dinner ware for even the largest parties.

House Supplies: Your home will be stocked with a supply of trash bags, paper towels, kitchen sponge, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, laundry pods, salt, pepper, and olive oil.

Please Note: No condiments or other perishable cooking essentials are provided due to the risk of pests and our high cleanliness standards prohibiting common shared use of food items between guests.

We provide the basic toiletries for guests (ie. shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish detergent)

Pool heating or cooling to ~88F degrees offered at $100 per day ($400 per week). Spa heating is always free. Heating is typically needed from October to April due to the cool evenings. From July to September due to the high ambient temperatures, the pool can reach up to 97F degrees, so we offer the option to Air Condition the pool.

Please note that the pool will need up to 24 hours to heat/cool to the desired temp. Please notify your property manager in advance if you would like the pool temperature regulated.

**After your booking is confirmed, please provide us with your email address and cell phone number. 72 hours prior to your check-in date you will receive a message with all pertinent house information. Guests are required to provide acknowledgment and adherence to regulations, as any citations will be the booking guest’s personal responsibility.

*Additionally, Booking Guest will be required to sign our rental agreement and provide a copy of a valid ID at check-in.
