« We had a lovely, relaxing 3 nights in Parapara beach. The bach is right on the beach with stunning views all the way to Farewell Spit. It was dog friendly and we met lots of nice people on the beach with their dogs! »

« Absolutely fantastic place to stay, hard to fault anything. A great mix between modern and kiwi bach with loads of room, a beautiful warm house with a great logburner, amazing outdoor spaces with a huge garage that has entertainment for all, table tennis, darts, bikes, paddle boards. Close to village centre and beach. Very highly recommended »

« This is an enchanting property sitting among mandarin trees, very peaceful and relaxing. I loved my visit, and it was a pleasure returning to this little oasis each day. Enjoyed being without TV, it was restful and delightful. Neat and tidy, colourful and quaint. The sound system is excellent for music too. »

« The listing did indicate a spa was there, but I think it had been removed? That would have been a bonus, but wasn't a factor for our booking. There was a bath. Nicely equipped kitchen. Beds had fresh linens and neatly made. Lovely peaceful spot, even had a visiting Weka. »

« This is an exceptionally special spot. The house was clean, contemporary, warm and comfortable with everything we needed… and the views were amazing! The walks around the property were a surprise and extra magical - it’s well worth the steep climb to the lookout! Exploring Farewell Spit and Wharariki area was a breeze from here. We were blessed with two days of exceptional autumn weather but it would be just as lovely hunkered down in winter or in the heat of summer. Thanks Canada for the...
