Overnight before flight
We had rented the 1 of the apartments. We arrived and had to go to the hotel to check in. Staff did not no how to use the booking software to check us in. I was told I had to wait while one of the other staff that did know how to use it was finished their shower. I waited 15mins and decided to leave and come back. When I came back, I was required to pay a deposit (even though i had paid in full) I was told that would be returned after we checked out by emailing my banking info to another email address. When we arrived at the apartments, the size was good, but the carpet was very worn and torn in places and had food still on it and smeared into it. The kitchen sink had a sponge that was still wet and stuck with food from the last guests and a tea towel also wet and stained with food spots. Not a good first impression. The wifi did not work, and since we relied on having it to find a place to eat, I had to return to the hotel with router in hand. The desk clerk spent another 10 mins on the phone with the manager explaining that the router was cooked, and the previous guests had complained as well. No solution, no wifi. The rest of our stay was fine, but the return of the deposit was painful. I dont like to give anyone mybbank info, but was given a PayPal option to return it. But of of course I lost on the exchange. The return took several emails and persistent pressure to get it returned more than 5 days later. I would not stay here again. It is close to the airport and roomy but not well kept.
