Tucked into the landscape with heritage pigs, Highland cattle, goats, and a resident horse grazing nearby, The Outpost offers a cozy, connected escape the kind of place where mornings start with mountain air and evenings end under wide-open skies. Inside, a spacious King bed and a Queen bed in the loft above, reached by ladder, comfortably sleep a family of 5: 2 adults and up to 3 children 12 and under, with one child sharing the King and two more tucked into the loft. At 255 sq. ft., it's an intimate, well-appointed retreat ideal for couples and families of all ages, including teens, grown kids, and grandparents, with our loyal Colorado Mountain Dogs keeping watch over the land.

On scheduled evenings, the Kitchen opens for Simple Meals & Shared Boards, available for purchase: brats, burgers, pizzas, charcuterie-style boards, and other easy favorites meant for sharing, along with drinks from the bar and non-alcoholic options. Gather indoors or out by the fire under the open sky. We'll share the week's schedule when you arrive.

Anytime the kitchen isn't open, coolers are stocked with cold drinks and refreshments, and the Gift Shop is open for snacks. Fresh air, wide horizons, and a sky full of stars complete the experience.
