The Lake Legacy Estate is an experience unlike most any other. The estate consists of two homes, one being a four bedroom home, and the other a three bedroom home which sit next to the lake which is completely private to these two homes. There are a combination of fun water toys, which include paddle boards, kayak and a canoe your group can use to enjoy this unparalleled place. Each house has a sandy beach area below the home that makes enjoying all the aspects of the lake that all ages can experience. The lake is stocked with over 1,000 trout a year and catching rainbow trout close to 2 feet long is not uncommon.

These homes are meant to be a casual and comfortable retreat for friends and family. There have been countless upgrades for each both inside and out. All of the furnishing and décor is new. Enjoy both of the fully stocked kitchens and the two BBQ's that are available for your culinary desires. You will find many of the bedrooms may include two beds, or other flexible sleeping options for groups and families. You will also find board games, streaming TV's, and a pool table.

Each home has a hot tub with lake and forest views as well as patio seating and lounging options to take it all in. We think you will see that every aspect of this property was created to allow your group or family fully enjoy this truly special lakeside experience.

We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

Amazing Rental Property!

This property is amazing. We stayed here last summer and loved it so much, we returned this summer with our adult kids and their dogs. The property is secluded and very peaceful. We enjoyed seeing deer and bunnies. It was nice to be able to choose from playing pool, ping pong and foos ball on a rainy day.The property management folks were very communicative offering to help with anything that came up (although we didn't have any issues).We had fun fishing at a lake just down the road.

Highly Disappointed

We recently had our stay here at this property. With the pictures and almost all reviews, we thought we’d come to a nicely cleaned home, with little to no Issues (as we understand that there will always be something that we come across). But to our surprise and disappointment, we came into a house that had cobwebs everywhere around the outside of the house, as well as around the walls on the inside. The house smell was super strongly musty and like the other review mentioned, had a moldy smell lingering, that many of the people in our group got sniffly noses, were sneezing throughout the trip, and had watery eyes. The mold smell especially came from the washer machine in the basement, where there was also a taped up, broken window that was allowing in flies and cold air from the outside. The basement also had beds with sand in them and a dirty bathroom which was definitely not cleaned. One especially disturbing thing was the super strong sulphur smelling water; we couldn’t use it for cooking and was especially worrysome even using it to wash our face or brush our teeth.. that should be addressed IMMEDIATELY. The second house also had webs especially in the bathroom, a big black spider that was dead on the wall, and a door which didn’t lock. There were also lightbulbs that would flicker and not light completely. If these things were to get adjusted, then this property would really be a gem.. unfortunately with the customer service we received, it doesn’t seem like an issue..

Great Property with so much potential but lacking basic upkeep

I hesitate to write this review because I don’t like less than 5 stars; however, I would have reconsidered booking this property & chosen someplace else if I would’ve known a few things. Upon arrival, the house looked OK & the 1st floor was cute. We appreciate the Lakeside decor & charm. However, there were some things with his property that were off-putting. For instance, there was a lower floor in the basement where we expected to be able to have visitors sleep. The smell of dampness & mold/mildew was overbearing. We had people sleep on the couches instead of sleeping in the basement because the smell was bad & it was filled w/flies & insects. Perhaps placing a dehumidifier could help resolve the issue? Another issue that made this property not enjoyable was the clear & evident lack of upkeep & maintenance on the exterior. Normally, I wouldn’t pay much attention to the outside, but since it’s a Lakeside home, we were looking forward to spending our days on the balcony to enjoy the water views. Unfortunately, the thick cobwebs, dirty windows/skylights that were filled with insects & dirt along with an overall lack of upkeep on the exterior kept us from fully enjoying the experience. Again, just a simple adjustment like having someone pressure wash the outside & clean the bugs & cobwebs & debris so that it felt clean when we were sitting would’ve made a huge difference. Lastly, the well water was pungent of sulfur & needs to be treated. We avoided drinking & showering.

Beautiful details inside newly refurbished home, plenty of cups, plates, utensils (great for large party of guests), lots of paddle boards and lake “toys” to use, great location so close to beach. Fantastic place, I would’ve given a 5 star rating even without the $20 Amazon gift card they offered ;)

Quiet Secluded Comfortable Vacation Home for Large Family with Private Lake

Our family of 18 (8 adults, 10 children) spent 6 nights at this private lake vacation home. We split our family into the two homes but gathered in the main house. Positives: Management staff was very helpful, friendly and responded quickly to issues. Very quiet and secluded home. Very good wifi. (No cell signal in the area). Beds were comfortable. Plenty of clean towels and beach towels. Private sandy beach was great for the kids. Nice to have canoe and paddle board, a few life vest and some random sand toys. Plenty of TP but only one roll of paper towels for a weeks stay. Concerns: which we brought up the management team and they said they would address: 1) dirty dishes and silverware in the cabinets, 2) crumbs in the silverware drawer 3) scratched up teflon pans, 4) debris on the floor and dirty stained carpets. 5) dog hair in bedsheets (which was changed right away), 6) patio wall on deck in main house needs to be painted, 7) patio furniture in the 2nd house was pretty weathered, 8) exterior windows main house needs to be cleaned (dirt and cobwebs) 9) outdoor equipment under the deck in main house not maintained or organized, 10) blinds missing in 2nd house master bedroom. It was unusual to have windows in the house taped up and doors that were locked. It would be nice to have high chairs in the two houses for families with small children. There is a pack-n-play in the second house. Overall rating: 3.5

Family memorial gathering

Beautiful property with a spacious home. Nice personal touches like a bottle of wine awaited us for our stay. Plenty of bath and beach towels for the whole family along with beds. It was also nice to have life jackets and a canoe available. We planned this trip for our mother to spend one last trip with her girls, grandkids and great-grandkids but unfortunately she passed away sooner than expected so we took the time to spend it together as she would have wanted. Thank you for the beautiful stay.
