« The studio is about a 25 minute walk from the train station—easily walkable if you have one rolling bag. Otherwise, cab is convenient and under 10 pounds. Excellent communication re: self check-in. Our unit was atop 20 steps and an ‘attic’ unit with short ceilings on one half, which was a bit of a challenge for us at over 6’ tall. We managed fine, however. « Our stay in the apartment was nice. We had wanted an apartment at the half way point of our Europe trip so we could do laundry and perhaps cook a few meals in. The washing machine worked great and we just hung everything to dry. The kitchen was very clean and was stocked with the basics. It is nice to have olive oil and basic spices kept in the kitchen for guests to use, this would perhaps be my only suggestion. Otherwise, everything was very clean and as described. »

« We stayed in the Lavendula suite in the basement area. It was small, but very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had good pressure with plenty of hot water and the kitchen was great for cups of tea and toasted snacks. Would not try to cook anything complex there though another person might be a better cook than myself. I also appreciated the eco-consciousness of the proprietors . Oh! The garden is idyllic!! Wonderful place to take a cup of tea and a scone and watch...
