« This is a beautiful property! Incredible oasis/setting for our special family get together. Two cabins felt like new (including the kids favorite Tanner w/ lofts) and main cabin nostalgic with its own charm. Our 3 generations had great fun preparing meals in the summer kitchen with sink, stove, microwave, 2 fridges and pots, pans & utensils… We also made use the the gas and charcoal grills. We all comfortably had meals together and relaxed and played games on the spacious porch. We were grateful...

« Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed! »

« We greatly enjoyed r stay at this little cottage & would definitely recommend! My husband & I both love the outdoors & took the opportunity to do some hiking at Rocky Gap State Park close by, which had some great trails & beautiful scenery! »

« Cute for 2 people, but if you have trouble with steps look for a different location. Bed in main bedroom was VERY tall off the ground and hard to get into for a 5 foot tall woman. Clean property, but although sleeps 6 is stated in rental, it was comfortable for myself and my friend on our girls weekend. Give local restaurant Black Bear Tavern a 5 star rating also. EXCELLENT service, selection, food was amazing and entertainment was spot on for what we were looking for. Location nearby...

« What a wonderful, relaxing, tranquil retreat. David and Pearle were such gracious hosts, providing so many amenities for our comfort/enjoyment. Morning coffee on the dock and evenings in the hot tub with beautiful lake views were a great way to start and end each day. We enjoyed roasted marshmallows and s'mores by the campfire. The information binder on the counter was so helpful, especially for giving us ideas of places to visit in the area, such as Swallow Falls State Park, Deep Creek State...
