« Rode my bike 77 miles in the heat to this place including 1.5 miles up a very steep hill. I was sweaty and tired. How nice to meet Xander who not only patiently checked me in but offered me a water... the elevator was fast, the room spotless, and laundry efficient. It was nice they had a limited beer selection. I was disappointed the fridge was off, but my wife suggested using the ice bucket to keep the beer cold and it worked. My biggest disappointment was no food within walking distance and...

Great opportunity to expose grandkids to how things were 220 years ago and explain significance of a spring house back then. Sitting on the big porch watching birds and kids was a treat for this grandma. »
