« Really enjoyed our stay. The room was great and the choice of breakfast was excellent. Loved the location and coziness to mingle with other guests. The staff are very friendly. Scott and Kate, I believe they are the owners are really nice people. We are glad we stayed there. »

« We went to celebrate a birthday…not much to do outside in the middle of winter but we drove to Rocky Gap State Park and Cumberland Train depot. The cabin was clean and we enjoyed a snow day the day we left! »

« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way.
We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited.
Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold.
If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available.
Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. After that you are out of luck.
