« Fantastic location. Perfect place for quiet relaxation. Hammocks on the dock were incredible with the breeze. Water temp was perfect for jumping in and swimming to cool off. Saw a pair of Spider Monkeys in the fruit tree in the backyard one evening. Screened in porches were great for having dinner through their recommended chef, Martin. A/C's in the room worked well. Only had one small issue and the host came immediately and fixed it. »

« Fantastic and quiet! Be aware, the road to the house is full of potholes. DONT LET THAT DETER YOU! The seclusion and peace and quiet are worth the drive. There is a resident iguana, outside the front door. I named her Dolores (no idea why) but she was never an issue. There are house geckos, but again they were never an issue. « This house was booked last minute for an improptu women's holiday because it was available and allowed a pet. The view of the lake is beautiful, but you can't get in and out to swim here. Many things were in disrepair like doors, windows, and screens. Linens, towels, water, toilet paper was not ready for us and had to be asked for and was stained and worn. « Our initial few days were great. The house has many great places to take in and enjoy the beautiful lagoon. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the lake and using the paddleboards and kayaks. The house couldn't hold up to the weather we experienced. One day during the rain, the kitchen was a quarter-filled with a puddle of water. The next day it rained harder and more water came in. « Nous avons adoré l'expérience !!! Tout etait tres bien mis a part le lit qui est vraiment tres inconfortable et l'eau chaude qui ne reste pas. La chaleur vient et repart sans cesse ce qui est irritant. L'hôte repond très rapidement. L'accès au vlub de plage est apprécié et vraiment sublime !!! Le paradis. »

« Buyer beware. The VRBO listing makes it seem you are booking a private home with 4 rooms and dock access to the lake. It's a gorgeous location, yes, BUT... what they don't tell you is they treat this place like a hotel. Each room can be reserved independently and has it's own lock and key. They are not connected within one home. When we arrived, I could not get a hold of the manager through VRBO and check-in was a bit confusing, especially with the language barrier.
