Great Place

The Host did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. It was so much fun to be 2 steps from the sand! We enjoyed a fire on the beach.. thank you for providing the wood. We came up from SC, if we find ourselves in the area again we would love stay again!

It was a very relaxing Day the first day and half we had no internet service so there was no TV but we made the best of it and then it worked the last 2 days nice to watch a movie.

Relaxing stay right on the water

The location for the price is great. The beach is large enough that even with most other cabins full there was still plenty of space. The lake is nice and Sandy here and fairly shallow for quite a ways out. We were in cabin 8 and it was enough room for 2 of us. Close to East tawas, oscoda and Harrisville (good rock hunting).

Relaxing

I found this property clean and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay: the cabin was clean and very neat. Everyone was so nice. It was very quiet and relaxing. I will definitely be planning to go back.

Nice quiet get away with a view

Cabin #8 is small but plenty big enough for 2 with all the comforts of home supplied. The view of Lake Huron is wonderful and only 50ft. from the front door! Tim and Nancy are very nice and great hosts!

Wonderful stay

Came here with my mom and my 4 month old baby. It was really perfect for us. My mom stated it was the little things that made her really happy with the place: a bag of ice in the freezer, coffee, and soaps in the bathroom. Anytime I needed to ask Tim something he answered a text message right away. Very happy with our stay and intend to be back in the future.

Amazing vacation and location

The cabin was tidy and had every thing we needed (except a fan, but we brought one). The sand was right at the door and just steps away from the water. All the guests and hosts were friendly. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys to use. The water was SO clear and shallow. We highly recommend staying at Miami Beach.

Disappointed

The cabin was NOT what OUR original listing entailed. We showed up to a small cabin(#8) with one bed and a small couch ( we are a family of 4) with NO AC not even a window shaker. This would have been fine if we had even the slightest breeze, Which we did not. The cabin was clean just outdated. Beach and water access was nice, clean and our child had a blast. When we contacted the property manager, she was responsive, answered our questions/concerns and did bring us a fan upon request, since our cabin was a sauna! She even brought our son some extra toys they had on hand for him to play with. We ended up leaving early due to us being extremely uncomfortable with our Cabin. When driving home we did look at our listing and noticed our small cabin, was amoung the highest priced cabin. We didn't even have the nicer amenities like the other ones at a lower cost. We feel we over paid for what we got. Best part about this place is indeed the beach and water access other than that nothing to make us come back.

Sandy feet

We were there for a long weekend. Everyone was very friendly. I think this would be the perfect place for families with children. Very clean. My only suggestion is having a rug on each side of the bed. Being on the beach, no matter how much I swept the floor my feet were always sandy when I went to get into bed. I had to buy rugs for this reason. Other than that, very fun place!

Family fun weekend.

This was a great place to stay. Basics were provided. There was cornhole, kyaks,a fire pit with wood provided, and a beach with a glorious view.
