« We spent a whole month in Ortigia and the property was exactly as advertised, clean, renovated and with an amazing view and location. At least during low season, parking was very easy to find (without charge) across the bridge in Syracuse (less than 5' walk). The apt location is in the perfect spot to wander around this beautiful island and also close to the market where fresh vegetables and seafood could be purchased daily.But what really made the difference for us was the host. « The mattress was poor and no kitchen knife. Requested a kitchen knife and received two steak knives. The kitchen coffee machine didn’t work well and we felt the need to reclean the kitchen before use. Great location * otherwise Just obtain a better mattress - pretty important when travelling »
