Find your bliss in the manicured yard, complete with a cookout-ready stone patio. Coastal colors and fine furnishings adorn the spacious interior. The charming dining room invites memorable family meals beside a gas fireplace. LIVING AREAS The light-filled living room features a soothing color palette. Recline on a plush sofa and two armchairs and find your favorite shows on the 50” TV. A selection of DVDs, books, and games expand your entertainment options. KITCHEN & DINING Prepare your favorite foods in the modern kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of appliances, and fully stocked with all the gadgets you might need. Ample counter space makes it easy to prepare ingredients, and the breakfast nook seats six. The window-lined dining room has a table for eight and a gas fireplace. Share special meals by the light of a chandelier. BEDROOMS & BATHS This home sleeps up to eight guests in between the four bedrooms and a bonus area. The bedrooms are located on the second floor. Make yourself at home in the tranquil master bedroom, detailed with a queen-size bed and a flat-screen TV. The second and third bedrooms feature comfy queen-size beds, while the fourth guest room has a full-size bed. Two twin-size beds await in the bonus area. The guest bathroom on the second floor is appointed with a double vanity and a tub/shower combination. A sparkling walk-in shower rounds out the bathroom on the main floor. OUTDOOR AREAS The oversized yard is the perfect for lawn games or simply relaxing in the shade. Make use of the gas grill and dine alfresco at the table for four. An outdoor shower is handy after fun-filled days at the beach. EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and parking for four cars in the driveway. Please note the bonus area is adjacent to a stairwell, and may not be suitable for small children. THE LOCATION Pedal to the Cape Cod Rail Trail in 0.2 miles; this paved and picturesque 25-mile pathway runs from South Dennis to Wellfleet and travels through the heart of Orleans. Skaket Beach is less than a mile from home. Or visit the Cape Cod National Seashore, only a 5-mile car ride away. Walk to The Jailhouse Tavern in 10 minutes for dinner and live music. Make a reservation at Abba and dine on inventive cuisine, or try out the tasty dishes at The Beacon Room —both just a 10-minute walk from your door.

Wonderful location

This is our second year staying here and it was as great as the first! Right on the bike path, right down the street from the beach, great yard for croquet, comfortable accommodations! Will be back for sure.

Great house for family and friends

This was a nice house. Great location! A very short drive or bike ride to the beach. The house had everything needed for a stay with a fully stocked kitchen to games/entertainment. We grilled about every night and enjoyed eating out on the patio or just hanging around and relaxing. We definitely look forward to staying here again.

Our multi-generational family loved our week at this house. Proximity to the bike path was fantastic, and it was an easy walk to the beach for our kids ages 10-15. The house was well equipped with games and the kitchen had everything that we needed. A/C was a plus!

Wonderful family vacation

This property was beautifully kept, spacious and comfortable. We went to the beach daily on bikes. We walked and bikes to town easily. The yard is beautiful and allowed for afternoon relaxation and a regular exciting game of croquet. We will definitely stay again!

Perfect location!

This house was perfect for our couples trip with young kids. The house was so close to grocery stores, a brewery, ice cream and was literally on the route of the bike trail! The beach is less than a mile and it was the most perfect beach for young kids as the tide goes out so far! The house was just as pictured and had everything we needed! We will definitely be back!

Where do I start with this adorable house? First of all it is perfectly located close enough to the beach and town without being on top of either. It also is right near the rail trail, making walking/biking access to it so simple.The house is fully equipped with everything for the beach, including chairs, boogie boards, pails umbrella, towels, and lots of other fun stuff for the adults and kids.The house was clean and tidy. The kitchen had plenty of pans, dishes, and even seasonings in the cabinet if you needed them.My favorite part of the house is the bookcase, with tons of books puzzles and games.There was so much to do in Orleans that we didn’t spend a ton of time at the house, but when we did, the backyard was perfect to sit and relax. We had so much fun and Hope we can come again!

Great house for a Cape Escape with the family!

We love being at the ocean or bay morning, noon, and night. Nauset and Skaket are our favorites and they're so close; it's a perfect location. We also like to ride our bikes on the rail trail which is right around the corner; again perfect! The backyard is great for grilling and lawn games. The house is well stocked with everything you need! Overall, it's a great house and location! We had a perfect week!

The 1800s

We loved the antique feel of the home while having all the conveniences of a modern house. The property was beautiful with lovely plantings attracting birds, butterflies and bunnies. The house was decorated with interesting and whimsical pieces. We particularly enjoyed the duck rock sculpture at the front door. We have rented many homes on the Cape over the past 40 years and this home was incredibly well stocked - the best!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an excellent stay at this home in Orleans! It was the perfect location- close to beaches, restaurants, the bike trail, and Nickerson state park. We shared the home with another family and there was plenty of room for all - 4 adults and 3 kids ages 1,2,and 4. The house was clean and Turnkey Rentals was easy to work with and responsive.

Beautiful rental in great location

We found this to be a charming place for our Cape vacation. The property is well maintained inside and out. Sheets and towels are provided (this wasn’t indicated in the listing) and the kitchen is very well stocked. An expansive patio in a private yard with beautiful plantings, a fire pit, and twinkle lights (!) enhance the space. The hosts make available a selection of books, DVDs and board games as well as outdoor game sets (croquet and corn hole) — something for everyone :). Location is convenient and quiet.

Lovely property. Spacious, well kept, true Cape experience.

Stayed for a week. Skaket beach is .6 miles from the house. Right on the rail trail for bikes, easy access to all points on the Cape. House itself is quaint in the best possible way. Really five bedrooms (all on the second floor), although they only list four. Three distinct sitting areas on the first floor for optimal family separation. There is a kids' bedroom off the kitchen stairs with two twin beds. Central AC which is a great bonus for the Cape. 14/10 would rent again.

orleans getaway

House is literally historic - research indicates initial portion built around 1810 - was functional and well located for both the beach and grocery shopping. . Only issue was that outdoor garbage bin was jammed and overflowing when we arrived - not a good look - but more pragmatically did not leave us much room - so we stuffed as much as we could and placed the remainder on the nearby ground.

Feeling New England

Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay, our first in the northeast. Cape Cod. was charming. Unfortunately the weather didn't hold for soaking up the sun (only 2 days), but we were prepared with trips to Boston, Provincetown, Hyannis, Salem. Plus eating at some nice little restaurants around the area. Mahoney's was recommended and didn't disappoint. But corn hole listed on website was not to be found...bummer, as we left ours home. House had everything we needed and then some. A very comfortable, roomy, quaint house. Truly gave us a feel of New England. Need to make a future return trip. Thank You
