We could not have asked for more from this stay. Clear communication, easy check in, beautiful location, fabulous amenities and perfect setup. We had four adults and four kids ages 6-11 and the space was perfect.

Amazing stay, beautiful property, excellent location. Waterpark on-site is a great added bonus. 2 requests - an instruction booklet to help guests work air con, oven etc would have been helpful. A luggage storage area for guests who have to check out but have late flights etc. This would be a really useful addition. Overall though, we would happily return.

We spent the weekend for a family reunion, the house just felt so clean the minute you walk in. The pool was very inviting and all the bedrooms we comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked making meal easy.

This home was as advertised. Great location nearby all Orlando attractions. House was clean, spacious with well equipped kitchen. Wonderful pool and spa. Clubhouse amenities for this community over the top. Large pool, water slide, lazy river and tiki-bar. Highly recommend and expect that we will return in the future.

Wonderful Disney / Vacation Get-Away

We (4 couples + 2 young children) wanted a place close to Disney, but also offering pool and other amenities when we weren't at Disney...and this was the perfect home! Plenty of bedrooms with baths, pool / spa, and right across the street from the Hideaway Club with it's own pools, lazy river, mini-golf, gym, etc...outstanding!! We couldn't have picked a better home for what we were looking for. Thanks so much for allowing us to be your guests.

Beautiful and relaxing home

This property did not disappoint! The house was roomy, decorated nicely, and very comfortable. All of the furniture was comfortable and on the newer side. Our family of 8 had plenty of room to stretch out. The air hockey table was a big hit with the kids. Being very close to the water slides and park made it easy to walk over and use whenever we wanted. This is the only property we’ve rented where the pictures were spot on.

Great Vacation Rental

The house was perfect for our family! We were in town for a volleyball tournament and were able to save money by cooking in the house. Everything we needed was there and more. The pool is an added bonus to take a quick splash after a long day out. As well the clubhouse pool and tiki bar is just across the street. The gym has quite a few things to lift and get cardio. I will be staying there again next year!

Great Place to Relax

My family needed a convenient place to retire to at the end of a long day of Flag Football at the ESPN center. We were well served here in this home. It was very clean and nicely decorated. We did not use the pool in the very chilly weather. The back bedrooms had some noise outside from late evening socializers and the hot water was not very hot and abundant but these were the only minor issues.

The location of the property was amazing. I think that it being so close to the entrance and it was right across the walk from the pool was the biggest plus for my family. It was super spacious and for the most part clean. The shower curtains in some of the showers were not the cleanest and two of our blankets had stains on them. There was also some fake eyelashes and makeup left from the last house guest left under the table and it wasn’t swept in some places. Also, we couldn’t use the hot tub. We did not know we had to let someone know ahead of time that we wanted to use it and it was a 30 a day extra charge. I’m sure it said that somewhere. Lastly, the picture of the upstairs game console was not there for our stay which my kids were looking forward to. The beds were pretty comfortable and the layout of the home was great for us so it wasn’t horrible just some housekeeping issues I didn’t know about before booking reason for the 4 stars and not 5.

Wonderful house, "resort" amenities need to be made more clear up front

Kids and I loved the house. Immaculate, comfortable, well decorated, plenty of space, and pretty much perfectly situated between most of Orlando's things to do. Management of the "resort" itself do not seem to want Vrbo renters around. My teenage sons, who are respectful and clean cut, just wanted to lounge by the resort pool with the water slides and whatnot. Were told rather aggressively that it is for actual residents only. They were not allowed to use any resort amenities, I think just the pool was $20 per kid. The resort pool, slides, river etc are fine but no nicer than our local YMCA so we did not go for paying for the privilege. Was just a surprise that took some of the luster off an otherwise great vacation rental.

Fantastic Retreat for the Whole Family!

There is just nothing like this in the area that can accommodate so many people in such a beautiful, private space. As a party of 9, traveling with our children and their grandparents from this exceedingly well appointed home to Disney World was fantastically easy and smooth with Osceola Parkway just to the north (there are no tolls between Storey Lake and Disney on this expressway) zipping us in a straight shot to parks in less time then it would take waiting for a bus at an on property resort which we have found can take up to 30 minutes on average from the start of standing in line to the final destination. The Hideaway Club two doors down from us was an awesome resort pool complex for our arrival and rest days, and the spa/pool at the house (which we paid extra to have heated) was wonderfully relaxing every day upon returning from the parks! I would and will recommend Storey Lake and this location especially to anyone and everyone I know that is traveling in a larger group and wants to be able to relax together.

Absolutely awesome place

Before I start, let me say that if you have a toddler, this may be a difficult house for you as it does have a lot of small decor items that will need to be moved. We just put everything up and convinced the 2 yo that the closet in the living room was his own special room that adults weren’t allowed in unless he let them. Other than that one caveat, this house was AMAZING for what we needed it for. We had a death in the family and wanted to gather to heal. The home had everything we needed and we rarely left the house. Our adult daughter took the 2yo to Disney and said it was an easy drive. The water park is literally past the house next door and across the street. Anything that we needed to ask about was texted back within a few hours. In fact, if there was anything they could do better, it would be having a text number for issues (I went through VRBO) so it could be a quicker turn around time. BUT that isn’t a big enough deal to slow down my recommending of this house. It was amazing and worked well for our group. We are talking about making this a yearly gathering of the women in the family we loved it so much.

4.5* - Clean, Open Floor Plan, Well Maintained, Great Location

Property more affordable compared to other 5BR, but less amenities (i.e. smaller pool, no game room or theater room). Pool was inoperable; arcade & air hockey table shown in listing photos were not in the rental. If those aren’t critical to your stay, then I highly recommend this property especially at non-peak rates based on the cleanliness, spacious floorplan, Sq. footage & 5BR, comfortable beds, prime location & proximity to clubhouse, and timely responses from Glasstone property mgmt. Pros -Quick replies from Glasstone via VRBO chat; keyless entry, check-in instructions sent ahead via app -Unit was VERY clean, well maintained, nicely decorated without being overly decorated -Kitchen abundantly stocked, starter kits provided; useful info sheet displayed in unit -Floorplan – Open w/ lots of comfortable seating. Bedrooms at corners of house helps limit noise & comfortable beds. We planned for 2 families but last minute only had 1 so way more space than needed for 4 but would’ve been cozy with 9 people -Clubhouse – Unit near front gate & across the street from heated community pool; waterslide & lazy river not heated; some traffic noise to proximity of freeway/main roads but not so loud that it disturbed sleep. -Mobile signal was spotty but the WIFI was very strong -VRBO Listing Accuracy- the information in listing and pictures accurately represent the property, with exceptions and clarifications as noted in areas of improvement Areas for Improvement -Upstairs tv bonus area – photos are accurate for room size but not amenities. Photos 5 & 22 show arcade game & air hockey table, neither are there; photos need to be replaced. -Pool Heat Not Working - Issues & unavoidable circumstances happen. The disappointment was Glasstone seemed to know. We had to raise the issue rather than other way around. They refunded pool heat fee. -Pool Heat Info in listing – Info provided after booking should be in listing as full disclosure. The whirlpool has jets but it is NOT a hot tub; maximum heating when working and paid for is 85 degrees. -Upstairs master bathroom, hot water worked in the dual sinks but not the shower or garden tub; didn’t affect us as there but it should be looked at. -Billing – carefully check email confirmation. Verify estimated charges equal 2 payments to vrbo & Glasstone. There was a billing glitch. Glasstone was responsive & pleasant to deal with, but the issue took multiple texts & phone calls to resolve.
