Cabane traditionnelle au bord d'un lac et d'une montagne à Orkdal

Surrounded by mountains and a lake, near Kjølen nature reserve, you'll find this traditional cabin. There is room for the whole family to go on a cozy cabin trip and enjoy each other's company in scenic surroundings.



Inside the cabin, the focus is on warm and brown tones, which creates a warm and cozy atmosphere, and from the small windows in the living room you can glimpse Fossfjellet and Kneppfjellet. The dining table in the living room invites you to enjoy long meals and good conversations in each other's company, or to let your competitive spirit kick in with a board game.



Outside the cottage, the hosts have set up a gas-powered knot trap, so you can sit outside and enjoy the summer without worrying about the insects. In the surrounding area you can find mullet, blueberries and mushrooms. At the end of the road further inwards from the cabin, you can walk or cycle to Selmotjønna where you can barbecue and swim.



Near the cabin you will find a larger and beautiful lake, Svorksjøen, where you can also swim in the summer. There are many opportunities for fantastic mountain hikes in the area, such as Fossfjellet and Kneppfjellet, which are also suitable for children with mountain experience. If you want longer and more demanding hikes, Omnsfjellet and Ruten offer great opportunities for a sense of achievement. The route can also be climbed with randonee skis in winter, for an extra challenge. The cabin is located 20 minutes away from the salmon river Orkla, for those who love salmon fishing & approx. 20 minutes away from the water park at Orkanger. The cabin is also about an hour's drive from Trondheim, for those who want to visit the city! There is a road all the way to the cabin.
