The room was neglected. The rug was vacuumed nor was the garbage taken out. The microwave didn't work. The shower water was cold-warm barely warm but the sink water was extremely hot. The worst part was the horrible bed situation. Besides the beds being uncomfortable, when you request a king size they put 2 double beds together. The problem is the beds kept separating all night long. So instead of getting what I paid for, they just gave me anything. Also it was freezing in the room. They could have turned the heat on since it was so cold outside. I had to sit in my coat, gloves & hat for over an hour waiting for the room to heat up. I then sat in my car for another hour waiting for the bathroom to warm up enough to shower. Since the water wasn't warm enough to heat the bathroom. I didn't expect to be at a 5star hotel but I did expect the room to be clean & well maintained. As a traveler, all these things are considered a huge inconvenience. All we want to do is to shower, eat & sleep. All of that was delayed for hours & therefore delayed my traveling which disappointed my employer. I had such a horrible time, I left a day early forfeiting an entire day. I chose to sleep in my car & shower at my gym, for the last night instead of spend one more day in this motel. I usually try to support local motels when I can during travels. This motel made me regret my choice. This is the first time I had to write such a negative review.
