« The cottage is well located to many attractions in the area most notably, Congaree NP which is a must see. We walked along the boardwalk trail and saw deer woodpeckers and even an owl, it was truly amazing. The property itself is as described with many small touches that make the whole stay that much better. « Great location on Lake Marion. Dock is set up for fishing and we caught a few big ones. House itself is exactly as described. Maybe not the Ritz, but it's Lake Marion. It's perfect for what it is. Very nice screened in porch looking out over the water. Almost a low country feel to the property and views. About 5 min from I-95 and 10 min from Santee Food Lion. Bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped appropriately. Great location for a golf weekend as well - plenty of decent courses...

I would stay there again if we do anymore festivals in Orangeburg. Overall good place just need some outside cosmetic work. »

« We had a great Father’s Day weekend with the family. My husband and son who are avid bass fishermen spent each day on the Jon boat fishing while my daughter and I relaxed on the kayaks. The fishing was amazing and they caught probably 50 bass over 3 days with the highlight being my son’s biggest catch, a 7 pounder! The cabin was perfect for our family and my husband said it was the best Father’s Day trip ever! »
