« There is great attention to detail. The linens, blankets and towels were all so nice. The kitchen is well stocked with nice dishes and everything needed for cooking, all is good shape. A walk to the lake gets you exercise and there is a dock with benches and a place to swim. The view from the house is beautiful. Thank you!! »

« If you haven't seen the movie On Golden Pond, you can watch it on YouTube. You'll know exactly what to expect for decor and ambience.This was an exceptional experience! Someone posted about the screen door slamming each time you closed it. My Great Grandparents door did the same, when I didn't control it. I felt like that excited little kid, each time I heard it. We rarely went inside. The screen porch was too peaceful. The loon sounds were mesmerizing. Don't be envious that you have less sun....

« Cabin is wonderfully renovated with modern conveniences while fully embracing the "get away from it all" theme. Property was super clean and easy communication with in-town property manager. Fantastic master bedroom and perfect kitchen and sitting area for meals, table games and just disconnecting from it all. Dock with adirondack chairs was peaceful. Loon Lake is perfect by itself, but the supplied 2 kayaks made it even better. Owner is fantastic. Hope to return soon. 5 stars!! »

« I was looking for a place close to Sugarloaf to stay for two families. This place was 20 minutes from the mountain and was perfect for us with enough beds for everyone. »

« Love this area!! This is our third visit to Saddleback and will not be our last. Beautiful home, great location! I could not have asked for more. The only minor disappointment was the fireplace was not working. Not a deal breaker, but we love to come back after a cold day of skiing and warm up by a fire. Again, wasn’t a huge deal and we loved our time there. Looking forward to the next trip in the near future. »

« Great Place, clean, cozy, roomy…would definitely stay there again… wish the sauna was functional…need to replace the hot tub filters, kept flashing error and we had to hit the breaker daily to reset it. »

« Very nice property. Not sure if there is access to Rangeley Lake as we could not find an access location. Property could use a Kurig type coffee machine rather than the old Mr Coffee style machine. Also most properties at this price point have basics such as a hair dryer etc. we will certainly consider this property again in the future. »

« Friends and family stayed here and at the cabin Serendipity up the road, to be together to watch the eclipse this month. It couldn’t have been more lovely. The home is clean and comfortable, the rooms just as described, and the setting is beautiful. There are a few cabins nearby, but we didn’t see anyone even for this popular weekend. It was quiet and lovely and had plenty of room for people to be together in the living room and kitchen area. The water was shallow, but we had two generations...

« The house was beautiful and clean, towels were laid out on all the beds and it was clear it is a well cared for house. The walk down to the water was less than 2 minutes and had a nice picnic bench and grass area to hang out in. The view on the water was gorgeous, and while the weather was a bit sour the weekend we went it was still nice sitting on the dock and getting the sun while it was out. Building management provided lots of information before the trip and was very responsive the couple...

« We had such an incredible time staying at the main cabin. The place was very clean, and the views WOW!! The cabin is surrounded by water in two sides and has a great sandy beach. The water was too low this time of the year to dock the boat, but was able to pull up on the beach easily. Boat launch is just down the road a little over a mile. Easy to drive to Oquossoc or Rangeley from here, but honestly this place has all you need! We are already planning our next weekend trip here. Owners were...
