« The owner was quick to respond, informative, and polite. The property did the job we were asking from it by being near by our family, close to the bay, and being pet friendly. I was not impressed by the cleanliness, but it was not out right dirty or unsanitary. You get what you pay for. Over all we were pleased with our stay! »

The people on the island were also extremely helpful, and they went out of their way to help in any way they could. They all truly wanted us to have a great experience on Smith Island. We brought our cameras, our water colors to paint, books, knitting, cards.... we had a WONDERFUL time. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. « The property was as described in the listing. It was peaceful, relaxing and secluded. We traveled with our three teenage kids and dogs. The kids absolutely loved the pool and our dogs were immediately relaxed. We were able to catch blue crabs off of the dock, no luck in fishing but that was probably more us then the area. « This is the third year we've stayed at this house and we still love it. The gentle bay is perfect for young kids and the house is great. We loved the new table that seats 10. The realtors are not response on VRBO but are very helpful if you call the Blue Heron office. Hoping this house will be available to book in 2023. »
