Welcome to your cozy Lake Geneva escape! Nestled in the heart of the historic Maple Park neighborhood, this lovingly restored 2-bedroom, 1-bath coach house is just a 5-minute walk to downtown shops, restaurants, the lakefront, and Riviera Beach.

With vintage charm, modern comforts, and a peaceful private patio, The Coach House is perfect for couples, small families, or solo travelers!

Originally part of a larger estate, this quaint coach house has been part of Maple Park’s charm for over a century. Today, it`s been restored with love — keeping its soul intact while offering all the modern amenities you need.

Want to bring a bigger group? Ask us about The Mainstay, the main house on the property — available for select dates and can sleep up to 16 total guests when combined with The Coach House.

The Coach House is all yours during your stay. We live locally and are available if you need anything!

Guests will have private access to The Coach House via the alley entrance, with convenient parking nearby. You`ll have the entire space to yourself, including the private patio — perfect for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at sunset.

The front lawn is shared with the main house (The Mainstay), which is occasionally occupied by owners. Whether you`re traveling solo or as part of a larger group, there`s plenty of space to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Maple Park.

You`ll also have full use of the in-unit laundry, Wi-Fi, and streaming-enabled TV during your stay.

We love welcoming guests in person and look forward to meeting you face-to-face at check-in between 4–6 PM. If you’re unable to arrive during that time or prefer contactless entry, no worries — we can arrange convenient self-check-in access so you can settle in easily.

Our rental properties are located in mixed-use neighborhoods that include both short-term guests and year-round residents. We want you to enjoy your stay, but not at the expense of the neighbors, so please be considerate to the neighbors with your noise and activities. You and your party shall abide by all federal, state and local laws and ordinances applicable to the use and occupancy of the Premises, including, without limitation, ordinances regarding odors, noise, trash, parking and pets. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 9 AM, daily.

Getting Around
One of the best parts of staying at The Coach House is that you can park your car and forget about it!

We’re just a 5-minute walk from downtown Lake Geneva, where you’ll find shops, restaurants, cafés, Riviera Beach, the lakefront path, and boat tours — all easily explored on foot.

If you’re looking to venture a little farther (like to a nearby winery, hiking trail, or spa), you’ll find ample parking and easy driving throughout the area. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also available locally.

Biking is another fun way to explore, and bike rentals are available downtown seasonally.

To comply with local rental licensing, all guests must review and sign a guest agreement after booking. We’ll request a valid email and mailing address for this process. Your information will be kept confidential and may be used to send you important updates and occasional marketing messages. By providing your contact details, you consent to receive communications via email, phone, or text. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time.
We also offer concierge services such as babysitting referrals, grocery delivery, catering, equipment rentals, and excursion planning. Let us know how we can make your stay exceptional!
Rules for The Coach House

In case of emergency: You can reach Portside Vacation Rental (the property management) by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 262-204-7437. After business hours (between 6 PM – 8 AM), there may be a slight delay in response. If you need immediate help or you and/or the house is in danger, please call 9-1-1. The non-emergency number to local law enforcement is 262-248-4455.

Parking: Please use the 2 off-street parking spots in the alley. Do not park cars on the lawn or in alley. Street parking is allowed please follow signs and times, or be subject to ticketing and towing.

Check-In/Check-Out Procedures: Check-in begins at 4 PM. We make every effort to see that the Premises is ready at this time, however, during busy periods, it is possible to have some delays. We encourage arrival before 6 PM (office hours) in order to guarantee an in-person check-in. Moreover, it will be easier for you to navigate unfamiliar roads for the first-time during daylight hours. You assume all responsibility for finding the Premises after 6 PM; refunds or discounts will not be given for failure to do so. If you make arrangements for a late arrival and decide to instead arrive earlier, please notify us or your change in plans so that we can have the premises ready. Check-out is at 10 AM. If you fail to check out by check-out time and our cleaning crew arrives, your credit card on file will be charged $75.00 per hour during which said crew waits. Prior to check out, please ensure that all trash is placed in proper receptacles inside the house. Please ensure all trash that has been placed in exterior cans properly fits and the lid closes completely on the bin. Garbage pick-up is on Wednesdays.

Early Check-In/Lake Check-Out: All requests for early check-in or check-out are subject to availability. There may be a charge assessed for an early check-in or late check-out if it can be accommodated by us and our cleaning crew.

Good Neighbor Policy: Our rental properties are located in mixed-use neighborhoods that include both short-term guests and year-round residents. We want you to enjoy your stay, but not at the expense of the neighbors, so please be considerate to the neighbors with your noise and activities. You and your party shall abide by all federal, state and local laws and ordinances applicable to the use and occupancy of the Premises, including, without limitation, ordinances regarding odors, noise, trash, parking and pets. Your reservation is subject to immediate revocation upon substantiated complaints from neighbors regarding any violation of this Good Neighbor Policy. Additionally, your credit card on file will be charged a $500 fine in the event of any valid complaints that are not immediately remedied by you. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 9 AM, daily.

Age Requirement: You must be 27 years old or older to rent the Premises.

No Weapons, Violence, Fireworks or Hazardous Materials: No firearms or other dangerous weapons are allowed on the Premises, for any purpose. A “dangerous weapon” means a weapon, device, instrument, material, or substance, animate or inanimate, that is used for, or is readily capable of causing death or serious bodily injury. Fireworks of any type are strictly prohibited in and around the premises, along with flammable substances or other hazardous materials (other than gas for outdoor grills). Your credit card on file will be charged a $500 fine in the event of any violation of this policy, and your reservation will be subject to immediate revocation without refund.

Fire Pits/Gas Grills: Please note that the use of the fire pit or gas grill is strictly at your own risk. Please read the following terms and in-home instructions carefully before using the fire pit or gas grill:
1. Only use the fire pit or gas grill in the designated areas.
2. Never leave the fire pit or gas grill unattended while it is in use.
3. Always keep a close eye on any fire, especially if you have children in the area.
4. Do not use the fire pit or gas grill if there are high winds, dry conditions, or a fire ban in effect.
5. Never use lighter fluid, gasoline, or other flammable liquids to start or reignite the fire.
6. Do not dispose of hot ashes, coals, or embers in the trash or compost bin. Instead, use the metal container provided and wait for them to cool down completely before disposing of them.
7. The guest is liable for any damages caused by misuse or negligence while using the fire pit or gas grill.
By using the fire pit or gas grill, you agree to the above terms and conditions.
