« The property is located on a unique piece of land. The "backyard" area opens up to the lake and it is very peaceful to sit there and watch the sunset. So, A+ there. In July of 2026 they are doing construction on the restaurant. I'm glad to see this place get some needed TLC in the form of capital investment. The downside is there is no breakfast or anything like that. There is a coffee shop within walking distance that has breakfast items. In the morning, there is a line out the door. ...

« We had a great time at Stoll's Spot. The location was great, the place was very clean. We did find a few ladybugs in the house, but with the weather getting colder, that didn't surprise us. Host was great, attentive to our questions and concerns. »

« We stayed here strictly for snowmobiling with 4 guys who didn’t care much about amenities, the house was located close to the trails without trailering, driveway had a good spot for the truck and trailer. Easy driving distance to boondocks and local stores and gas stations. »

« The room was very attractively decorated and the kitchen well-equipped. I enjoyed reading on the dock in the early evening and having breakfast (such as it was - see below) on the little porch off my room and looking out on beautiful, serene Big Moose Lake. I wish I had known the continental breakfast I had read about online was discontinued a couple of years ago after the fire.
