Entire Basement area, Kitchenette, 1 King Sz bed 1 twin roll away (request) separate fenced pet area, washer/dryer, small fresh garden vegs all year you are welcome to enjoy for meals during your stay with us. Google fiber, Wi-Fi, bar-b-que grill, patio area, Dog Park next door Smart TV, Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, Cable and HBO, Driveway parking for one car. We do live upstairs so you could hear some noise. We are mindful of that, and kids are in rooms by 9:00. We also provide alarm clocks that have noise/nature sounds and ear plugs. We do have dogs that you might hear bark to go outside, we put them out quickly because we don’t like to hear them bark. Please search other popular sites we have many other reviews on there and are Super hosts on that site as well. Give us a try I don’t think you will be disappointed!!!!

Solar/battery power that provide some backup to the AC/Furnace and refrigerator if the electricity goes out.

***This space does have a small kitchenette with a small sink!! We do not have a stove or oven but do offer hot plates and other small appliances to cook with. ***

***We steam all fabric items, chairs, benches, carpets, headboard, area rugs etc after every stay to help with allergies and COVID ****

***The shower is not real spacious if you are wanting a luxurious shower it is definitely not a spa like space! ****

This space is completely separate from ours upstairs!

****Kitchenette does have a refrigerator, microwave, George Foreman grill, hot plates, pots pans, silverware, Ninja goodies!!! bar b que grill, blender, kettle, toaster oven, dishes, crockpot, ice tea pitcher etc in the kitchenette to help make this space as accommodating as possible.****

We finally got the walkway from the driveway to the gate put down!!!
We tried to think of everything to make your stay comfortable!!!! All kinds of Amenities that will make your stay comfortable and if we did over look something you are close to stores, gas stations restaurants, highways, Dog Parks! MNU College, Soccer Parks and Olathe lake! Golfing, walking trails etc!!!!

First! This place is absolutely beautiful. The bed and pillows AMAZING. We were not there much other than to sleep. The TV options were above average, we had no problems finding something to watch. The only two things stopping us from giving a perfect rating; we did not have washcloths for the shower, which is not a huge issue. Lastly, the foot traffic from upstairs, was not excessive but enough that we did find it distracting. Again, not enough to be a major annoyance. But others may find it to be. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay in Olathe to be close to our grandkids for the summer. It had everything we needed for us and our little dog Casey. Location was great to get to lots of restaurants and close to highways to travel the short distance to the kids houses. Jeff and Julie thought of so many extras to make our stay comfortable.

"Julie and Jeff were hands down some of the best people on this planet! The amount of time they must've put into stock, decorate and sustain such a comforting place is motivating. Their attitudes were far above and beyond what you would expect from hosts. Radiating joy and support at any chance encounter that happens. Their place has everything you need and more! After a long day traveling and working, getting back to their place was like a reset and recharge. Probably the best place I have ever stayed at- not just because of the amenities, but because of them! Very responsive and they even recommended a great place to eat that I will never forget (beef brisket a Joe's KC BBQ). The area is not something you will see many places in the US. Family neighborhoods, kids playing in the street (drive slow) and smiles all around. What a joy to have that in my memory and I wish them the very best"

Great little getaway

Quick Stay in Olathe

My friend and I were in the area for a concert and luckily were able to check in a bit early. Communication with our host was easy and fast. We loved the space! Beautifully laid out and decorated. Amazing bed and linens. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great property

Stayed here while work was being done at our house. This is a clean and safe property with many amenities. The owners have given a great deal of thought and care to make this property a great VRBO. Communication with owner was excellent. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful place!

We really enjoyed our stay! The rental was very clean and well taken care of. The bed is incredibly comfortable! We really loved all the little touches, the coffee bar, the snacks, and the extra toiletries for anything forgotten were much appreciated. The shower may not be big, but the water pressure was awesome. We traveled with our dogs, so especially appreciated the fenced outdoor space for them! 5 stars for sure!

One of the biggest reasons for booking this property was the reviews of the bed and it did not disappoint. We traveled 1200 miles in 2 days and booked had booked a 4 night stay and could not have been more pleased with our choice. Clean, comfortable, well located, with many extras. Cozy Home

I stayed here with my daughter and dog for four nights. The neighborhood is in a great Olathe location. This converted walkout basement has its own private access and patio. My daughter and I enjoyed eating dinners at the small outdoor table. The interior space has everything you could need for a short stay and is so much cozier than a hotel would be.

Beautiful guest house

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely guest house. Everything has been well thought out and although we only stayed one night we could see it had everything for a longer visit. Bed was very comfortable as well as the sofa. House was clean and there were snacks and drinks available. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything but an oven to cook a meal. Grill on private patio fixes that! Location is in a quiet and pretty neighborhood that we enjoyed walking through. Fenced backyard area was set up nicely and was perfect for our dog. Location is 10-15 min from Overland Park and Jack Stack BBQ! Hosts are very responsive while allowing privacy. We would definitely stay here again. Heather, Lori and Charlie the Irish Setter.

Nice, clean, convenient, exactly what we needed!!

Julie and Jeff were great. The place is well appointed, well decorated, and very clean. Really, really nice!!! We were in town for a 4 day workshop, we had breakfast together, made lunch to eat at the workshop, got take out for dinners. I was able to work efficiently while my wife attended the workshop. Exactly what we needed.

Like home

The hosts Jeff and Julie were amazing and treated me like family. We had a storm come through and Jeff and Julie came down checking on me to see if I needed anything. They gave me a few flashlights until power was restored. I’ve been traveling the last 11 years for work. And this place tops all the places I’ve been. I will be making reservation in the future here.
