We booked this property well in advance, expecting a smooth check-in after a long day of travel. Instead, we showed up around 12:15 AM only to be told they had overbooked, and honestly, they didn’t care at all.
The receptionist treated us like we didn’t matter. No apology, no help, nothing. We were just told to “contact the third party” we booked through for a refund and sent on our way. The attitude was completely dismissive and unprofessional, like our presence was a bother.
So there we were, exhausted and stranded in the middle of the night, going from hotel to hotel trying to find a place to sleep. We finally found one, but it cost way more than what we had originally booked, and at that hour, we really had no other option.
What’s worse is that this hotel clearly knows it’s close to the airport, so they just count on people showing up regardless of the reviews. That’s probably why they don’t bother treating guests with even basic respect because they figure someone else will always fill the room.
I have stayed in a lot of places, but this was hands down one of the most careless, inconsiderate experiences I have had. Do better for the sake of the people who put trust in your business.
